1. Taco Charlton
2. Bobby Carpenter
His career ended in disgrace. But, Automatic Septien was a All Pro Kicker and great for a decade.Rafael Septien
Does his name rhyme with 'tack'?Someone is going to say it and all hell will break loose.
Quincy was terrible. That "average" team had the #1 D in the NFL. The team drug him.Quincy went 10-6 and took an average team to the playoffs
My draft go-to had him as a 7th.I forgot Gavin Escobar. Drafted in the 2nd round most draft publications and internet draftniks had him as a 3rd. I didn't even like him as a 3rd. But they drafted him high anyway, couldn't block, everyone knew that but he also couldn't catch.
One of the saddest plays in Cowboys history for sure. The other has to be either the Ice Bowl ending or John Mackey TD SB5.
He 2nd all-time in points scored for the Cowboys. He was actually an excellent place kicker but had a serious off the field issue. I think the OP is looking for who was the most hopeless as a player.

Staubach refused to throw him under the bus....said he shoud have thrown a better pass.
Four seasons with the Cowboys- 64 regular season games played, 7 starts.I forgot Gavin Escobar. Drafted in the 2nd round most draft publications and internet draftniks had him as a 3rd. I didn't even like him as a 3rd. But they drafted him high anyway, couldn't block, everyone knew that but he also couldn't catch.
