Collins and D law are the only D lineman even playing this year and you are gonna let collins walk? Instead of taking a good 1T to play next to collins we take a guy to possibly replace him next year in the 2nd round? If this is their line of thinking I think we got very lucky in the draft the last number of years cuz holy crap that's backwardsI wasn’t a fan. And I agree he’s looked bad early if that helps. I’m not sure how soon he starts is all that relevant to the debate, as some teams are deeper than others. But we drafted him to plug in after Collins leaves. If he can’t do that, I’d agree that he busted.
But don’t you think those character concerns need to be investigated thoroughly to see if or if not if there’s any truth behind it ?
To see if there’s misleading rumors and information involved ?
Look at what happen with the Lael Collins pre-draft situation that caused a 1st round pick prospect to go completely undrafted.
How do we know if it’s fault within the coaches and the way they go about handling players that could have help launch or infused those character concerns ?
What a lot of people may not be aware of about Trysten Hill’s situation and regards to his supposed character concerns is per report, he actually tried to transfer schools
and move away from the situation at Central Florida and into a better, more constructive atmosphere but the school actually blocked and refused his transfer admission.
Imo, when you go about research investigation and due diligence to do scouting work on a player, you have to approach it with an open mind, be impartial and unbiased and listen to both sides to help produce the best decision possible.
Unfortunately we were 1 pick late that draft. We either needed to move up or move back that draft and we did neither. Takk and tredavious white were picked right before us.Correct. if we didn't draft taco we probably still didn't draft watt. Watt 100% went to the better fit and the result of good ability with the right fit.

Lol.
We’re you under the impression I thought busts don’t happen in the NFL?
Or are you just popping off in favor of snap judgements because you really think two weeks into a season is enough time to evaluate a player? You’re jumping to conclusions, again, because you want to be the first to be “right” about something to complain about. That’s fine. Just don’t ask me to hold your hand and tell you how smart you are along the way. You’re just guessing at this point.
How dare they treat people as people and not like the Madden GMs on this board.
No it is backwards. Just like they took Taco who was more of a LDE prospect when we needed a RDE as d law insurance if he didn't stay.If Hill can't play, or if Collins takes a deal the way La’el did, that changes things. But Hill was definitely drafted to handicap that position heading into next season. You might think it’s backwards. I’m just saying that’s what the team did.
I'm actually surprised they went DT in the 2nd because it's a position they just don't value and it kills them every year. Lets see how Hill develops?
There’s one thing I am absolutely confident in saying- you have no idea what it takes to run a successful organization.Yeah because that's how successful companies do it. All about the feelings. People always want to point to the Patriots for examples of everything. Here's another area to look to them. You either produce there or you're gone. They're not worried about feelings or stepping on toes. And that's a big part of why they win championships and this team doesn't.
Development still won't make him a 1T, which is what this defense needs.

Yes but good teams facilitate good drafts with good free agency moves as well. Something this team hasn't done in a decade. Our GM is on a family vacation every year the first week of free agency. It's an absolute jokeSo freaking funny people talking smack about this front office when we have drafted as well as any team in the league the last 6 to 7 seasons. Even the Holy grail also known as the New England Patriots miss on picks and have missed on more picks.

if its a good draft pick, its McClay. if its a bad draft pick its one of the coaches, and indirectly Garrett's fault.Ok... so who's been in charge of these high round draft failures on the Dline..
Taco
T.Hill
Someone wanted them...who?
