I have checked out of being emotionally involved. I come here for two reasons.its all fake dude
and youre posting in a forum that you are implying is a circus...why? why havent you moved on?
lame
im watching this thing cave on itself...i checked out years ago, which is why this is imploding, it cant grift my head anymore.
jerry is clueless. even this coaches hiring, is a circus, and has all the media attention and its exactly what he wants. I mean he wants to hire witten and that was a condition for MM to have him on staff and MM said, I had enough of this crap. I rather be unemployed. and now this coach, that coach. and some we know don't have it. Moore, just doesn't have the presence to manage older coaches, and not be run over by Jerry. he is a good, gosh, oh golly gee, kind of person. not a strong personality. so some of the coaches have good history and accomplished. so fans may know those who most probably will fail (law of probabilities) and those who can succeed or have a better chance (again law of probabilities). some coaches won't even come here (i.e. Ben Johnson, who said he has to be aligned with the GM, which here it won't happen).I mean, we pretty much have no clue how things will work out either way. Hot shot assistant? No clue. College coach? No clue. Safe retread? No clue. Old legendary coach? No clue. Pay a first for coach that has won before. No clue.
I mean, Andy Reid was kicked out of Philly and now he's a legend I guess. Did anyone know anything about Sean McWay before the Rams hired him? Okay, I'm sure some of you did. But that is no different from all the other hot shots that tried and failed.
So if you want to complain about JJ because he's the common thread here, okay. But no one knows anything at all about which coach will work or not. And if you think no coach will work, I guess that's fair too. But at the end of the day, hire whomever for all I care. I'll still watch and see what happens.
It’s really quite simple: Thirty years of bad decisions by the oldest and most unaccountable GM in NFL history. What could possibly go wrong with that formula?I mean, we pretty much have no clue how things will work out either way. Hot shot assistant? No clue. College coach? No clue. Safe retread? No clue. Old legendary coach? No clue. Pay a first for coach that has won before. No clue.

FactsOh stop.
This dude was dumped by 9 teams before Dallas.
He’s not qualified.
Remember Dez tweeting about nepotism. The hiring of Brian is what he is taking about. Coaches son reminds me of the Shula kid. I will say this it won’t be a learning curve and he knows the players. Hopefully he will have good assistant coaches. I doubt if Zimmer returns however.I mean, we pretty much have no clue how things will work out either way. Hot shot assistant? No clue. College coach? Some in the local media wanted the Cowboys to hire Reid when he got fired. I think Jerry thought McCarthy could have been like Andy was for KC.Andy Reid was one of the best coaches in NFL when Philadelphia fired him
Everyone know about McVay when the Rams hired. He had been one of the most sought after coordinators to come around in a long time
The nerve of us!Yes, how dare us fans, staring down 30 years of mediocrity, demand change and a competent coaching staff! The audacity of us!
People like you are why nothing will change around hereI mean, we pretty much have no clue how things will work out either way. Hot shot assistant? No clue. College coach? No clue. Safe retread? No clue. Old legendary coach? No clue. Pay a first for coach that has won before. No clue.

Because its a chat board and we have to talk about something ?I mean, we pretty much have no clue how things will work out either way. Hot shot assistant? No clue. College coach? No clue. Safe retread? No clue. Old legendary coach? No clue. Pay a first for coach that has won before. No clue.

lame side stepping post...this boardBecause its a chat board and we have to talk about something ?
So, everything you've said there is correct....now can you see why we have to suffer in 2025 (for the longer term good).jerry is clueless. even this coaches hiring, is a circus, and has all the media attention and its exactly what he wants. plus Jerry doesn't want to pay much for a coach, so forget the hot coaches (again, law of probability for success). he wants to minimize coaching cost (as he said, there is coaches dead money).
its turned cowboys into a freaking circus...
Jerry loves fans like youBut at the end of the day, hire whomever for all I care. I'll still watch and see what happens.
?lame side stepping post...this board
What are you even going on about?another lame post side stepping...
You can call his journey nepotism if you want, but if he is hired, it has nothing to do with nepotism. He isn't under consideration because he's Marty's son.Remember Dez tweeting about nepotism. The hiring of Brian is what he is taking about. Coaches son reminds me of the Shula kid. I will say this it won’t be a learning curve and he knows the players. Hopefully he will have good assistant coaches. I doubt if Zimmer returns however.
