As is the case nearly always, it's about balance. Can't win SBs with just one great wr or one great rb or one great qb, despite the Cooper Kupps of the league, if you don't have at least some semblance of a running game, or some semblance of a defense, then it's tough to win SBs....
sure you aim to have balance, ..you aim to keep the RBs involved, you want the defense to still be preoccupied with the threat of a run game... i can barely recall the last time a RB was MVP of the SB.

If anything else, as always the case, it's been more about the defense at SB time, at playoff time, .when all the stakes are on the line ...
- Rams made the deciding stop- sack (ala Donald) vs Cincy last drive to secure the SB
- Eagles made the sack fumble vs Brady- Pats that turned the game in their favor and knocked down the hail murray to secure the SB
- Bucs domination of Mahomes TD-less SB feat , etc ,etc,
