Why can't we beat Seattle?

We can win. Anything can happen!! I'm very confident they will go into Seattle and come out with a win. The pressure is on Seattle, which allows us to play with that additional weight off of our shoulders.

I want us to win. we are miles better than last year and years before. I don't know if we have the discipline just yet. I don't want us to go in there and die trying to win. It's a long season, and that will be a vs a great team, with a very physical D.

If this was the playoffs, then yeah die trying. I just hope, if we get into the post season, someone get's lucky and knocks them off.

I sometimes wonder if the forum ever watches other games? People talk about our up and down performances, etc.... its true, but it is not unusual in the NFL. Eagles have to fight for their lives against the Rams and almost blow a big lead (btw, Jeff Fisher and the Rams took a delay of game penalty on the final drive in that one too), Buffalo beat the Lions, the Giants beat Atlanta, and a ton of games came down to the wire with the lead flip flopping at the very end (can you say the Browns won?). It is just life in the NFL today. Dallas has a real chance next week, but a better chance if McClain plays.

This is the single most frustrating thing about the game day threads, for me. Literally, 90% of the complaining posts can be responded to with 'welcome to today's NFL,' and have it be the right answer.

I think the boys can do it. I hope we win the the toss and just let them know about our running game from the opening kick off. Run that ball down their throat and shut the 12th man up.

Any given Sunday.. Punch em in the mouf and don't let up till the bell rings.. Mistake free football, get some turnovers instead of giving them, and it could happen...

Im starting to believe. I may get killed here at the zone by some for being optimistic, but why the hell not.

In another post I predicted that we would beat the Texans by three and a score of 17-14. In reality it was by three but the score ended up at 20-17. The other score was for Seattle to be 14-28 a 14 point win for Seattle. I will stick with my original prediction of 14 points by Seattle.

If we only score 14, then it must mean Romo with at least 2 picks and another Murray fumble.

Pump the brakes. We just barely got away with a win against the Texans. Let's not go crazy here.

Of course we CAN beat the Hawks. Doesn't mean we will. Either way, should be a good game.

I think if we play against Seattle the way we played the Texans..

it will be a repeat of the Niners game.

Spot Seattle 3TDs like we did the Niners and its game over.

I am not all that happy with how this team starts games..

they are slow out of the gate and still play from behind too much.

Good teams know you come out and do whatever they can to get ahead and keep taking shots at the defense until they fold.

Seattle has the type offense that will really expose this defense.

Romo is going to have to play much better if this team is to have any chance.

I hope we are at full strength and make a good showing at Seattle, but the fact is that the next week vs Giants is a more important game. If Ro, Carter, or anyone else is not fairly healthy, we should give them the week to be healthy for NY.

No one expects us to win in Seattle including my self, we can but a lot of things need to go our way. The nice thing about this game is there is absolutely no pressure on us at all we have nothing to lose

There's no reason why they cannot dominate the Seahawks at Seattle. People put false mental barriers on themselves. If the focus is good and we play to win instead of playing not to lose, it can happen. Unfortunately, most of the world starts to focus on possibly screwing up and is content with not embarrassing themselves. Happens to me a lot and it is hard to get out of that mindset.

This offense plays well on the road. Heck, they're so good that they even implement their silent offense while at home.

If we continue to run the football like we have then we have a chance against anyone.

We can beat Seattle. I wouldn't bet on it but it could definetely happen if they cant stop the run.

Seattle has one more game to play before us. A lot of things "could" change by tomorrow morning. Our QB on defense is questionable next weekend as well as a few of his sidekicks. Is Seattle healthy? There's still football to be played and injury updates to be sent out. We're a lot better off this time, going into Seattle, without our QB holding on field goals. Just sayin'

IF both teams play their best we lose.

In Seattle we have to play our best and they have to be mediocre.

The odds of that happening are rather slim

They're traveling across the US twice this week (hawks) and play us on a short week.

While a win is possible...if Foster gashed us like that, Lynch is going to have a field day.

Playing seattle is almost playing ourselves as far as game plan...run a lot, open up for a couple of passes here and there, run more. I dont know that our injured ILB's can make it.
