IF both teams play their best we lose.
In Seattle we have to play our best and they have to be mediocre.
The odds of that happening are rather slim
Im starting to believe. I may get killed here at the zone by some for being optimistic, but why the hell not.
Who else read this in a Scooby-do voice? Be honest.
San Diego's defense really put it on Seattle with some impressive physical play, the Cowboy's defense isn't capable of that IMO. That will be the big difference in the time of possession and the game.
I give the Cowboys maybe a 10% chance to win in Seattle. It's not that I'm not extremely excited about how surprisingly well the team is playing this season. It's the fact that Seattle is the best team in the NFL, and they win nearly every game at home. They have one of the best home field advantages in all of the NFL.
You're asking "Why can't the surprisingly good Cowboys beat the super bowl champs in their house where they almost never lose?"
The answer is because this team is still very inconsistent, and while they've flashed brilliance, they haven't shown me anything to indicate they're a super bowl caliber team, which is what it takes to beat Seattle on their turf.

This is the single most frustrating thing about the game day threads, for me. Literally, 90% of the complaining posts can be responded to with 'welcome to today's NFL,' and have it be the right answer.
Someone please get Lynch drunk on Saturday night.
Disagree. We have a good shot against the champs. Cowboys left 21 points on the field yesterday:Pump the brakes. We just barely got away with a win against the Texans. Let's not go crazy here.
Of course we CAN beat the Hawks. Doesn't mean we will. Either way, should be a good game.
The Cowboys are not going to go 15-1, which means they are going to lose some games, so there is no shame in losing to the best team in football in their house, where nobody outside of Arizona has beaten them in two years. The Cowboys will lose this game, but they will still be in the race to win the division and that is all that matters at this point, because the Eagles, Cowboys, and Giants are all on each others heels.
