Sadly, a lot of non-franchise QBs get paid almost as much. You must have smart GMs willing to try something outside the box and cheaper like Baker Mayfield or Kirk Cousins who probably provide the same results with $20 million more to spend. Or teams with the nads to admit they blew it with the first round pick like Fields or our own Trey Lance, and in some cases a guy like Goff who isn’t horrible, just not what they needed to win the Super Bowl. We will never have GMs like that until the team stops being a family business.

I stayed on the Dak wagon longer than most.

I was so disappointed when they re-signed him on opening day.

This entire off season and doing nothing only made sense if you were moving on to something new. A “rebuild” season to let Daks contract expire, draft a QB next year and let’s go.

If your point is he and Dak are equal, you have no point. Burrow is light years ahead of Dak in all phases of playing the QB position at the pro level. Burrow….on some of teams Dak has played on the last 9 years would have advanced a lot further in the playoffs.
