Why did they trade Amari Cooper again?

It was the right move.. he wasn't worth the money and they had to unload the contract. The crying over Cooper is funny. He was the #1 receiver, replaced by a new #1.
So what happens when Lamb get paid. Because Lamb ain’t a better wr than Coop and he definitely isn’t representing of the brand of #88

Because the entire story made no sense. The timeline didn't work. The fact it is supposed to have happened in a crowded post game locker room and then not have immediately become news is stupid. We'd have had the entire story 15 minutes after the alleged dispute happened.
What if, it didn't happen in a crowded locker room?
These guys obviously have time away from media.
Easy for it to leak and then they claim they
heard it in the locker room to protect the snitch.

All I'm saying, is he could've said that in a WR meeting and it got leaked. Bottom line is, Amari has heard the "rumor" so I'm sure his buddies rib him on it all the time. I bet he laughs.

According to Jerry during his radio interview, it was money. Our passing game hasn’t been as good since he was traded. It was a big mistake! Brandin Cooks isn’t close to the receiver Cooper is. He’s only put up 4 catches for 39 yards.
LOL that's hilarious! He suddenly...one time...claims it was about the money.

And why are you comparing such a different situation. If Dak is the QB you claim he is...cooper has way more yards....right?

What if?

That's not how the story went.

You don't get to change the details to make it more plausible. The story goes how it goes, and it never made sense.

So YOUR story is more true than his.

Sorry...It's taking some time to go through all this BS. Be patient with me.

I get it. Someone made it up. Okay. Who?

Either way, it's out there. Amari knows it was said.
Don't you joke with your friends? You claimed he never
said it. I'm saying, in private, I bet he said it, or at least,
acknowledged it with a smile.

This thread isn’t about our QB. If you want to argue about him, you better find a thread about him You obviously didn’t read the warning that was posted.

The Cowboys wanted Cooper's $20 million off the books. They might have entertained a restructure but the playoff loss after the 2021 season sealed the deal for them. On Dallas' last drive he was running half speed on his routes. And he didn't even try to block on passes to Lamb and Pollard that would have gained more yards if he did.

Also Dallas felt that Lamb was ready to step into the number one receiver role and they were right. Their mistake last year was not finding someone to take Lamb's old number two spot.
Hey there CeeDee how are ya?

I miss coop :(
We got a guy claiming CD assumed #1 spot....but coop made an immediate and VERY discernable difference to our offense.

Des Lamb? Not...sure...unless we go a bunch of games without him and then get bounced out the playoffs..

oh...wait. er....

I think some leeway and discernment must be given.

If someone said..in this thread...Dak made Amari.....I bet you wouldn't argue or report.

I like Brandon Cooks. You get close to the same player, give or take 100 - 200 yards...on average.
Not sure Cooks is on pace with that.

Neither is Amari...right now.

We can always say "well whoops I was worn bout that", right?

They are giving some leeway and I didn’t report it. Others have mentioned him in this thread. If you think I’m a lover of our QB you’re wrong. I supported him and still think he’s a good player but I’m beginning to come to the realization he’s not the answer. I’ve been basically saying that for the past year, but you must have missed those posts. I’ve talked about his regression numerous times. We currently have an offense that’s designed to limit his mistakes and take the ball out of his hands in some critical situations. We’ve basically handcuffed him. He clearly isn’t the player he was prior to his ankle injury.

I think they wanted his contract off the books.

And I think things Amari did rubbed Jerry the wrong way.
The covid issue was one reason not getting vaccinated n plus behind that really pissed jerry off wen soon as cooper was spotted at that nba game no mask and boom caught covid and missed them two games against the chiefs n raiders ticked off jerry .. plus also the whole production vs contract issue and always was hurt to practice n then wasn’t showing up on road games all playes a factor I believe why they traded cooper…

Because Dak went crying to Jerry’s office that Amari criticized him too much
Lol, is that true or is this Dak bashing? Honest question, I’m not trying start anything. I do remember Dez and Dak getting into it. I also remember with Cooper that he didn’t want to get vaccinated and that played a role.

Personally I’m still angry Amari is gone. I loved him. I almost named my dog after him but I was scared too because if he left then every time I say my dog’s name it would remind me he’s gone.

So I named her Dallas and now every time I say her name it reminds me that we haven’t won a Super Bowl in 28 years. Next dog I’m going to Ashoka.

Cooper so far in 2023 - three games___
17 catches for 243 yards = 14.29 yards per catch, 1 TD.

LAMB so far in 2023 - three games___

19 catches for 273 yards = 14.3 yards per catch, 0 TD.

So about the same but cooper has a td catch
