As long as his contract stipulates he can be cut at any time for cause. I would welcome him with open arms if for no other reason that to taunt the Eagles.

I do not care what it isad about T.O., if we were to sign him and I hope we do. I'll root for him as I do everyone else. I have been a Cowboys fan for 40yrs now and just because they sign a malcontent (by the media standards) I will still root for him. He has the talent to help this team even more. So he officially is on my wish list.

anyone that all of a sudden decides not to watch the team because of the signing was just a bandwagon person in the first place.

He is or was the best WR in the league, I'll take him all day long, attitude and all.

T.O. will get a big contract. He'll dominate again next season. Sign him Jerry.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this, cuz I didnt read previous posts due to the length, but I sure as hell havent forgotten what T.O has done to the Cowboys and the incident on THE STAR. No one disrespects us like that and then gets loved by us after!!

I would love to have TO on this team. I really don't care about the crap he brings with him. I think the Eagles did it all wrong. They let this guy become a cancer. They should have been on top of him every time he did something. They let him get away with crap.

As far as talent, he's got it. With him on the Cowboys, we would immediately become a contender.

What a bunch of B.S. this whole thread is.....

I think that the majority of people here would agree on a couple of things.

1) Most people do not want T.O. to come to Dallas......ever. Not playing for us and not playing against us. Scary talent : Scary attitude

2) If for some reason he did sign with the boys, we would support the team regardless. Those that would not support the team are full of it. You can't tell me that the decisions that the management makes about players will sway you from watching the team most of us live and die for. If not, then go find another team to support. :starspin

I personally hope that he does not come to the boys, but if he does I will watch every single move that he does with extra scrutiny hoping that he behaves himself within reason. Ironically enough, I think he talked himself out of the long term contract that he and Rosenhaus so desired. For the rest of his short career I think he will be looking at short term contracts with plenty of "loyalty" clauses.

The idealist would like to believe that T.O. could come to the Cowboys for a reasonable contract, contribute his talent and be happy while we run to a couple of championships. The pessimist would believe that Jerry signs T.O. to a ridiculous contract and the locker room implodes immediately thereafter because there aren't enough mic's for Keyshawn and T.O. at the first press conference. Realistically the answer lies somewhere in the middle.

Let us proceed :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2:

Some folks have no self-respect, Peek, and those are the guys screaming for us to go out and sign TO...

I'd rather lose with honor than win with that piece of crap... of course, you can still win without TO, in fact I can't recall the last Super Bowl champ that had that putz playing for it...

What ever guys you know damn well if TO became a COWBOy we would all be on his NUTS!.

Speak for yourself, man... I loathe Terrell Owens with the special loathing I reserve for athlete/punks like Plaxico Burress, Randy Moss and Allan Iverson... that wouldn't change if he donned a Cowboys uniform...

Oh, I'd still be a huge fan of the team, I'd just root for him to have his career ended...

Parcells hates prima donnas, there's only room for one of 'em on the Cowboys, and that's the Tuna himself. ;)

I honestly think the Cowboys would be the #1 offense in the NFL next year if they put TO in. Besides some oline depth, having a go-to #1 receiver who always demands respect from defenses is really the only thing this offense is missing.

But I'd hate having a guy on the team who I know is only one QB bad performance... one injury on the offensive line... one fight with the head coach... away from having a temper tantrum and gradually turning against the team. I also think Cowboys fans in general hate TO because of the star incident and the humble Puritan mindest in Texas. The guy would probably get hissed at from day one. No one really liked Deion Sanders when he was in town either.

Who knows? The Cowboys did win Super Bowls with Duane Thomas and Charles Haley. They're winning right now with Keyshawn Johnson, who was also suspended and supposd to be the bad guy in love with himself. Parcells has a way of commanding respect, but it does backfire sometimes with guys like Antonio Bryant. I'm thinking it's only the young dumb rookies who have problems with him, not the vets.

Now that TO has basically cut himself out of any expensive long-term contract like he wanted, it may be something to look at. There's a lot in this story that we has fans don't know. If Bill and Jerry snoop around the Eagles organization with some "inside sources" maybe they'll discover it wasn't as bad as reported.

The important thing to remember is TO usually has his problems when he's not getting the new contract he wants. Fix the financial problems and you have a guy who is arguably the best receiver in the league.

I remember when Deion came to Dallas,i really
didn't care for his brand either, however,i had never seen
an entire side of the field not being thrown to,so i
became a fan.T.O.is a cancer,yes he's very talented,
but he undermines an entire team and i think more
than anything else, what coach is going to agree with their
boss,to work with him.

Does this really need to be discussed any further. Either there is a lot of new cowboy fans or a lot of people with short term memory problems.

I doubt anyone on the current team hates him for that moment. I think it's one of those things that fans who live vicariously through the team take serious, but coaches and players don't lose sleep over. It's still important, though, because if the Cowboys ever decided to pursue TO, I think fans would remind him of that day from game one. Then he'd score 2-3 touchdowns that game and everyone would cheer for him. We're fickle. ;)

You call call me cheap, but I look at Owens like I would a high priced call girl with a impressive body and an attitude. The moral side says no way, but the goods are hard to resist as you dole out the cash. I might hate myself in the morning, but I would have a good time before that.
Good analogy if you include the repercussions, like a messy divorce when the wife finds out. The good time has to be VERY good (like leading to a ring), to make it worth it.

If you could just throw TO out of bed in the morning, that would be fine.

But the guy is a home wrecker and any franchise he touches pays the price.

Two teams got tired of dealing with him. This is not just a media driven situation. There are some serious problems witht his guy.

I hope T.O do sign with the Cowboys... I believe with the Cowboys past at getting free agents or trading for a player, they never had any problems out of free agents or people they traded for, and Keyshawn was in the same situation two years ago in Tampa Bay....

And look at his attitude then and look at it now... I think we could do the same with T.O he just needs to be around the right people...

I for one can't see Jerry telling Bill.that Terrell
is coming to Dallas.Unless a puppet coach,ie a Campo
type,i just can't see him being tolerated anymore. He's
only going to want to be on a contender.
