Hey man, I'm not trying to be rude, but you need to fix your sig. It's not working and it messes up the margins.

Thanks.

I will definately say that I have NO desire to see Owens in a Cowboy uniform. Do I believe it is within the realm of possibility that Jerry and BP will consider bringing him in if he is indeed released.. Yes.. But at the end of the day I think the chemistry of this team would seriously be destroyed. Cowboys are a very young team at a lot of positions. I'd like to build on that youth in years to come and would much rather try to get a young WR either in the draft or a younger vet WR. We have enough older wr's on the roster already. We've had a lot of complaints that we are old at the position already. TO is 32. So finding a rookie in next years draft class would be a bigger priority to me than signing someone that has had very bad clashes with both his previous teammates and coaches.

There is no way that BP wants that cancer on his team. Just NO WAY. And I really thing that JJ feels the same way.

After mixing it up with Wolverine 2 nights ago I decided to stay out of this one for a while. Well, a while is over.

For all of his talent Terrell Owens has not put a team over the hump to Super Bowl Championships. Even last year the Eagles got to the big game without him.

Terrell Owens = missing piece of Championship puzzle?

I'm sorry but I just don't see the math. Based on what? His talent? Randy Moss is just as talented. Has he played for a Championship?

Talent alone simply doesn't get it done. It never has, and it never will.

The teams that win it all are united in their cause. Anyone who tries to tell me Terrell Owens would be united with the whole team simply isn't paying attention. Again, based on what? The apology yesterday? Watch it again. While Rosenhaus is railing on the Eagles after Terrell's apology you can see him in the background smiling. His apology seemed sincere. At least right up until his spokeman started yapping.

Why would we want that in Dallas?

No doubt about it, the temptation is there because the man is seriously gifted. Like most temptations he isn't worth it.

I hope everyone who played on a football team at any level will chime in on this...

Chemistry matters.

To me there is not much in the world of sports more galling than disrespecting the harmony of the locker room. I played with an All American Tight End. He got into issues that ended up with him being kicked off the team. The mood in the Locker Room changed after he and another player (a very good LB) were shown the door.

That's where I draw the line. He's not worth bringing in at any price. No trash in the locker room. It would be flushing money (and what Parcells and Jones are building) right down the drain.

Not just no, hell no.

I applaud Parcells and Jones for ridding this team of locker room drama queens. Stay on that course.

Chemistry matter a lot. I would be very concerned in how Keyshawn and T.O. would interact. That could be a less than desirable situation. I think the Cowboys look into T.O., but I think the chances of him ending up in Dallas are slim.

I agree. The upside to T.O. is he is one of the best WR in the league but his downside can rip a team apart. No one man is worth that

Alot of people keep saying he'll end up in Oakland. If he did, which I can't see happening because they are paying big money to two wrs already, Collins would have to learn to throw two balls at once because Moss and TO would be screaming for the ball on every play.

If Coach Parcells decides to bring in TO, then I would trust that he feels that he can handle him.

And I would support Parcells.

I will not lose any sleep either way though.

You can bank on one thing, I will ALWAYS be a Cowboys fan, ALWAYS, ... no matter what, no matter who wears the jersey.

I think all of us will. I'm not talking about abandoning ship if he ends up here.

I simply don't see the logic of bringing him in. He's not a difference maker and he is a distraction.

2 negatives in this case do not make a positive.

I disagree that he's not a difference maker. He can make a huge difference but the problem is it can be good and bad. He'll help you win games but also tear the team apart.

I agree with you on that. I may not want to see T.O. in Dallas but that would not change my loyalty to the Cowboys.

I know you weren't Hos, but I do think he is a difference maker.

I would rather win the SB without him though.

All I was saying was that if Parcells meets with him and after that meeting feels he can work with and handle TO, ... then it's on.

By that I mean that he is not the final piece of a Championship puzzle. If he had that kind of label he'd have rings.

I understand that and would try to feel the same. I'll be honest, if he wears the uniform it won't make me like him. I'll root for the team and be thankful for what he brings that leads to wins, but I'll be a happier man the day he leaves than the day he arrives and any day in between.

I was brought up to believe respect is not given it is earned having said that if T.O. ever came to Dallas he would have to earn respect and not just as a football player but as a man and a teammate.
