Why is no one talking about the last time we played the Saints?

Just not the same two teams coming up to face eachother this weekend.

That's true. In 2006 both teams were 8-4 and the Cowboys were playing at home. Now, one is a struggling 8-5 team that has only beaten one team with a winning record and the other is 13-0 and playing at home.

Cowboys have a chance in this game, but I would put it as very, very slim chance. Saints are better in every phase of the game.

Let's see if that is still the case if Ware definitely doesn't play. ;)

Some may try but if you have been at this site for any length of time you will see them get mocked for using injuries as any type of an excuse

That's good to hear. Oh, and speaking of injuries, Mike Bell and Lance Moore are both going to be back, as well as Scott Fujita. This will be the first time in six weeks both Fujita and Ellis, two of our best players against the run, will be on the field at the same time. And our starting CB, Tracy Porter, is practicing for the first time in five weeks. While we have been winning without them it will still be nice to have them back.

NFL network is saying Ware will play but regardless if he does or doesn't they are not going to call off the game

Something about the Cowboys uh? :laugh2:

I look forward to this upcoming game, so Dallas can put the ghost of Christmas pass behind them and win one for Tiny Tim Cratchet.

The Saints kept running the same freaking play over and over and over....

FB in the flats.

I still cannot believe how we could not adjust and gave up what seemed like 20 completions to the FB that night.

It was totally pathetic.

I was unfortunatly at that game. It was totally pathetic. :banghead: I've never seen so many of the opposing teams' fans show up for a game. There were honest to God more saints fans than cowboys fans.

So what do you call the fans that were selling out the Superdome when the Saints had losing seasons in the late 90's?

Saints have one of the most passionate and loyal fan bases in the NFL. Not to mention, the loudest fans when opposing teams come to that dome.

I don't have any problems with saints fans. Kinda feels good to see'm do well for a change. JUST NOT ON SATURDAY! ;)

Now who I was shocked by were the chargers fans. Ran into way too many loud mouth A-holes at the game.

I've got to be honest, this is the first game this year that I do not expect the Cowboys to win. My confidence level for this game is at ZERO. I hope they prove me wrong.

If that was even remotely true you would have never been in danger of becoming the LA Saints prior to 06

You need to get your facts straight. That had absolutely nothing to do with fan support. It had everything to do with the owner pulling a power play in the upcoming renegotiation with the State of Louisiana. He was demanding either a new stadium or Superdome upgrades in addition to the financial support. Katrina aftermath and the league office brought a halt to that. Insurance on the Superdome covered all of the requested upgrades, plus. In addition, the league office stated that they would not allow such a move. Had the Saints been without the loyal fan support they might have allowed it to happen. The Saints have had more sellouts over the past 30 years than all but a handful of NFL franchises.

Thanks Asylum. Took the words right out of my mouth. This guy Ren is making Cowboys fans look ignorant.

Saints fans are well-known to be classy when opposing teams fans come to the dome. We always want out-of-towners to enjoy themselves.

Oh I am! Trust me, I know all about petty stereotypes and crass generalizations being that I'm a N.O. native.

1.) My IQ is that of a bullfrog

2.) I'm a bandwagon fan

3.) I live in a trailer

4.) I talk like a redneck hillbilly

There's other insults I've gotten but that's the ones off the top of my head.

This being the case, don't engage in such stereotyping with other people.

This is the very definition of a stereotype. You're implying that the behavior of a single member of a particular group can be used to draw conclusions about the behavior of the group as a whole.

says the troll who's attention whoring on a Cowboys board... I'm sure the 4 people who where saints fans before 06 are really proud of you too

Aints "fans" who all come here trying to prove what great fans they are do a pretty good job of looking stupid on their own. I'm just telling you what you already know but don't want to hear, we don't respect you at all and even if your team wins on Saturday we still won't respect your bandwagon jumping *****

Yes, there has always been something about the Cowboys. I live in Bossier City and there are a lot of Cowboys fans around here and over the past 15 years or so their hatred of the Saints have grown with every loss. So, it is always enjoyable to hand them another.
