Yes, there has always been something about the Cowboys. I live in Bossier City and there are a lot of Cowboys fans around here and over the past 15 years or so their hatred of the Saints have grown with every loss. So, it is always enjoyable to hand them another.

To be perfectly honest, no. Not at all. I had always respected the Cowboys and, in fact, Staubach was one of my all time favorite players. It has really been over the past 15 years of the local New Orleans hate that I have grown to really enjoy these matchups. And over these past 15 years there hasn't been much Cowboys' history to envy, to put it bluntly.

They've been selling that place out for 20 years...so I think there are plenty... and I know a couple of dozen personally. Those are great fans in New Orleans.

Thanks for the support, DFW, but I have heard this same misinformed drivel from all around the league. I guess it is hard for people to understand how we could remain so loyal after so many bad years when most other franchises have half empty stadiums when they are losing.

I have no desire to go to Saints boards. I already know all I need to know about the Saints and how our fans feel about them. The only way to find out the same info about our opponents is to visit their boards.

That, then, is a very broad generalization based upon a few LSU fans. But, I must admit, you are correct about many LSU fans and their regard for the Saints. But, the fact is there are tons of Louisianians that are not LSU fans and really hate purple and yellow (check it out, it isn't gold as they claim).
