I find it funny how ppl read the title of the thread and start to go off before even reading the entire post. If you read it you will find that I say this is a worst case scenario that will likely not happen. If I failed to spell it out properly I apologize. Again this is a worst case scenario, where JJ can't match the offer (like if someone offers him a $60 million contract) or a poison pill that guarantees the entire $40 million contract. Yes Austin would have to be a ***** and do it, which I doubt he'll do. But if it happens for some godforesaken reason then we honestly won't be all that bad off, unless of course the team stealin him is the Chargers, Jets, Vikings, Colts, or Saints (which would result in us moving down in the draft if you follow my logic to go get another WR via Poison Pill).
Just because it is an uncapped season doesn't mean that a team will be willing to shell out $40-50 million guaranteed because of a poison pill, yes even JJ doesn't wanna do that (I doubt Snyder would either).
AGAIN.... WORST CASE SCENARIO.... I hope it doesn't happen and we keep him.

I would't be real upset to get some teams 1st and 3rd for Austin.

And with one of the two 1st rd picks we have, if we could get Dez Bryant or Golden Tate, I'd be real happy.

And if we got both Tate and Bryant with our two 1st rd picks, I'd be jumping up and down.

And we'd still have a 2nd rd pick and two 3rd rd picks. Package one of the 3rd rd picks with the 2nd rd pick and get OL Pouncey. With the other 3rd rd pick get DMC. That would be some serious firepower. Loaded for bear!
