We will have played 3 of the 5 worst defenses in the NFL. Lets see how Kellen, Kitna, and Dak do against GB on 10\6.

To be fair, it's only after week 2, so half the reason Washington and the Giants are ranked so poorly is because of the Cowboys.

I give him tons of credit but if you watched sports on local channel 5 , Newi talked about how Dak himself gave some credit to Kitna and KM

BUT he truly believes the QB coach he hired in the offseason and worked out privately with, is the one who actually changed his throwing motion and showed him the easier way to transition from PA and RPO to a throw.. I dont know his name but last week thats the story..

Dak used a private coach and the light came on..

all tis credit to KM Kitna etc may make some difference but the truth from Dak himself says its more his private coach and off season work..

Dak is better because he wants to be the best and would have gotten there regardless. Lets just be thankful that Jerry brought coaches in here that can properly help him.

GB sucks too. Planets are aligning for DC SB. Only need Brady to sprain an ankle.

Everyone is posting about when Kellen should get a raise and when Jerry needs to choose between him and Garrett.

news flash: if Dak were as inconsistent as he’d been the first 3 years, things would probably be better than they were but would be nowhere near where they are now.

Kitna fixing Daks mechanics and getting him to process faster is what’s making the huge difference. Kellen is certainly calling great games, but Kitna is getting Dak to be able to execute it. The deep ball is on point most times now and not ending up 30 yards into the stands like we saw with how many sideline passes last year.

also it’s easier to call long pass routes when the OL is giving you time which can be directly attributed to Fredericks return. 6 sacks through 2 games last year. Only 6 total pressure through 2 games this year.
Might as well give Mark Colombo props for that oline holding up as well while you're at it

Sure. But there is no improvement possible without Dak himself. You could have the best teacher in the world and never learn a thing.

I find it offensive that Dak is playing so well and the immediate reaction from a majority of fans is to attribute his success to someone other than him.
Offensive? That's weird, dude. Really weird. You let yourself get offended way too easily.

I had the unsettling feeling that Dak would have been a wasted talent until Moore and Kitna had this opportunity.
The book is still not finished, but it has a great chance at being a best seller so far!
Me too.

Everyone needs to be "coached up". Some more than others.

Dak has been a hard worker w/ a great attitude from the start. All he needed was the right direction, the right coaching. We now appear to have the right guys.

It's OK to give coaches credit for teaching him the right stuff and also give Dak credit for working so hard and being such a good dude w/ a great attitude.

Kitna wasn’t here last season when Dak went on a tear. I do think Kitna has helped but all this is premature after two games.
True but Daks mechanics are better. His drops are more consistent so OL can have decent idea where he is so the OT can ride their guy past Dak. It can be a confluence of a lot of things but whatever it is, it was not the QB coach from last year that made the mechanics changes. No more short stop loading up for a long throw.

Hmmmm I like my QBs looking like they just got out of jail. I bet his stare can turn a passrusher into stone.
For Me the combination of Kellen and Jon looks like a newly minted 2nd Lt fresh from graduating top of His class at the academy and a grizzled Sgt Maj Who's seen it all and killed a fair chunk of it with His bare hands.

I don’t disagree. I really do think Kitna has helped. But Dak has been on a tear prior to now. It’s so early to tell that it may simply be the competition he’s facing. But no doubt he looks different. I noticed it the first snap he took this season.

Regardless of the competition, throws like the over-the-shoulder TD to Cooper show a big improvement, as do several other throws.
