Why When Romo Gets Injured It's the race to whom can make the "funniest" meme?

Most people are complete wastes of oxygen and resources. That's why.

We live in a country lacking in integrity and basic decency. The collapse of the American family is the cause.

I've been living in an oxygen tent for the last two months. Give me your address so I can send you some extra Arby's coupons for the waste of resources.

I dispise them being a Vancouver Canucks fan haha. They get consistent top tv time despite, like you said, not winning anything in years. But they get the ratings so it continues

I understand. Btw, have the Canucks ever replaced those funky uniforms they once had?

Well today they do. I see all this sentiment over his injury, whether genuine or not. I haven't seen one meme joking about it either.

I'm guessing because it happened on the practice field instead of a televised game where you can get a screen grab.

Also, there's probably something more inherently innocuous and funny to some of a guy grabbing his back versus a guy's leg snapping and leg flailing around (http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/new...tn79dpy?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter).

They've had the same basic color scheme and logo for the past 10 seasons or so. But we've had so many funky ones I'm not sure which one you'd be referring to haha

People have always been hating on Romo. Nothing new. And TB suffered a much worse injury. Speculation is he severed all three ligaments and displaced his kneecap. Career threatening injury and he's a young guy.

It's corny to me anytime someone finds joy or humor in the injury of any athlete. Be it Romo, or Victor Cruz or Junior Gallette or any Eagles player. Doesn't matter the athlete or sport it is always unfortunate to see any of them get injured.

I remember when Victor Cruz got hurt against the Eagles some radio host in Philly made a joke about it and he got killed for it on Twitter by a lot of the National Media. I guess it's just Cowboy hate?

Because Romo plays for America's Team. Had he been the qb for the Packers or Steelers, he'd be America's sweetheart (dating Celeb's and what not). Anyone who doesn't love the team, generally hates them.

Same would go for teams like NY Yankees, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Toronto Maple Leafs, etc
lol. You mean the Montreal Canadiens.....

It's the race to whom can make the "funniest" meme all over social media and the internet in general. Trashing him and the Cowboys in the process. And their fans.

But the second someone like Teddy B or another gets a serious injury, the tone is totally different. If you dare poke fun at his injury or talk down on him, you are a despicable person. Do it with Romo, you are a comedian in the long line to make fun of him.

I'm all for moving on from him as many others are but I just don't get the double standard in these instances.

There has always been a double standard re Romo and I do not know why

The Cowboys have had so many great players and coaches over the years most clubs can not come close. This generates some dislike and hard feelings from many other clubs fans. I mean the whole Americas Team thing has really annoyed other fans for years. The Club is still the most popular football team in the NFL by a wide margin.

I'm with you for sure but in the case of the Toronto Maple Leafs those poor sods haven't won the cup since 1967. How can anyone hate them?
lol. The Leafs are so pathetic and have been that way forever. I remember their last Cup..heck, the league gave it to them because Montreal got Expo. Heck, the Canadiens won it for 2 years before and 2 years after.lol

You agree that the Canucks had funky uniforms?

No championship since Patrick Roy. The Master
Well...combined with fact that they dont play real hockey any more. Heck, they could be wearing skirts out there. There was a time when half of these pansies today would be afraid to walk past the old Boston Garden...never mind lacing them up and taking on the Bruins.
