It's the race to whom can make the "funniest" meme all over social media and the internet in general. Trashing him and the Cowboys in the process. And their fans.

But the second someone like Teddy B or another gets a serious injury, the tone is totally different. If you dare poke fun at his injury or talk down on him, you are a despicable person. Do it with Romo, you are a comedian in the long line to make fun of him.

I'm all for moving on from him as many others are but I just don't get the double standard in these instances.

Romo has that in common with Cam, they are the two most polarizing QB's in the league.

I think the Cowboy are wildly popular and I think that other fans love to see us lose. But I dont think other fans envy Cowboy fans.
They don't envy Cowboys fans per se, but the Dallas Cowboys Football Club with all its popularity and attention-grabbing glory. They say they hate that about us, but if it was their team, they would eat it up. That's why they all want the America's Team nickname. Every year some fanbase tries to claim as their own. It is what it is.

Romo should be celebrated as a prototypical American success story and an inspiration. Came out nowhere to be among the best QB's in the game for one of the highest profile teams in sports. He is a genuine class act and a downright awesome human being. How the hell anyone can find him polarizing is beyond me.

It is literally because he wears a star on his helmet. Had he played for Green Bay or Minnesota or Seattle he would have been a instpirational story and a media darling.

Exactly. From un drafted nobody to the all time leading passer for one of the most visible and popular sports franchises in the world.

It's corny to me anytime someone finds joy or humor in the injury of any athlete. Be it Romo, or Victor Cruz or Junior Gallette or any Eagles player. Doesn't matter the athlete or sport it is always unfortunate to see any of them get injured.

Whoa, now, there's a limit on humor being inappropriate.

That offends me as a vegan transgender atheist who vapes and crossfits 4 times a week. I'm also a feminist, but the gender I identify as is an attack helicopter. If you don't like my views, then you're an ignorant arrogant globaphobic sexist lesbian.

Lol, it's sad but unfortunately true. Men have been told for to long the have to shut up and act a certain way to women. Not the way my daddy taught me to respect and honor a woman. Then if your not tolerant to any specific view you are a "hater". Men wear Capri pants and it's called fashion these days. I come from the era of Hank jr,Johnny Cash, Merel Haggard. Not these pajama jean wearing fools.

It's a two way street. Women are expected to bow down and be subvervient, even when a man is wrong. That's no fun either.

Yep. He is a Hollywood underdog story come to life. Unfortunately for him he is in a town of spoiled brat fans who generally don't value him.

as my friend who is a browns fan always has told me, we would have built a statue of him in Cleveland by now, he is the perfect blue collar underdog story.

Oh well as I have been saying all year I am going to enjoy every play he is part of because the end is near and I really hope he doesn't get treated like Ware, newman, aikman and emmitt at the end.

I've never been taught anything like that. I'm not saying women shouldn't have an opinion or not be allowed to vote. But now it is either thier way or nothing. It's a fine line of respecting each other while taking personal responsibility for your own actions. I heard a feminist recently say that if you regretted a hook up the day after it was rape. To make this relevant to this forum I believe many players have to be overly cautious for these progressive feminist so not to get in a situation such as Zeke did earlier this year.
