That play just shows the single biggest mistake this last off season.

We wouldn’t have advanced in the playoffs with Rush under center, but I imagine that making the playoffs would have been a much higher probability with Henry.

I think that the context is important though.

Next year, if Henry continues to dominate then that’s the real hindsight where we can be mad.

I refuse to believe that any off season free agents could have overcome the fact that we had to rely on Rush for half a season and certainly not for a playoff run,

I am not giving him credit for beating an overmatched bad team in the Wild Card round. Spoiler for last year's playoffs but that is exactly what the Texans did to even make the Divisional Round. You say the Texans were bad but they did exactly what the Bills do every year: beat up a bad team in the Wild Card round, putting up great QB stats, then losing in the Divisional Round. You are literally calling the Texans bad for basically taking the Bills route, except they do not at least get the 7 seed that, since the installment of the 7 seed, has only ever won 1 game in the playoffs.

To be fair, and I would have gone for it, there is a difference between 4th and inches on your own 29 and 1st and 10 on your own 43.
