Wild Speculation: Tank Going Rogue

This morning on the way to work while listening to 105.3 The Fan they were saying, “Tank went Rogue” and they decided to play a real defense out there. I caught the tail end of this but the context was implying they stopped listening to the coaches and played it differently than normal..

None of this playing “not to lose” scared conservative holding back stuff but actually “playing to win...”

First they tank on purpose, then they actually try to win and kick butt!! This is a clear message to the coaches and Jerry, we need better direction next year. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out or if this is really going on....

Could it be? Is it really happening?

Sometimes you just say the h*** with that and cut it loose and that's what tanks talking about

that was not what it was about, it was about the coin toss. he told Dak to go defense first when it was suppose to offense. it's what started the confusion.

English is probably OP's second language, that would be the only explanation for such a terrible misinterpretation of what he thought he heard.

Of course that didn't stop a bunch of posters getting tendinitis in their wrists as they congratulate each other on how the players are ignoring the coaches.

Drives me absolute nuts man. Imagine being that miserable in life. I'm not trying to insult anyone with that, honestly, I'm not. I'm truthfully saying to think about it.. Cowboys destroy a Rams team who just beat the #1 seed in the entire NFC pretty soundly, and your first thought is to come up with something negative not even 24 hours after the win. I can understand the Thursday threads that voice their concerns, but imagine posting here hours after the game to come up with something negative. How can anyone be so miserable about a sports team they claim to root for? I truly feel bad for them. Nothing should make someone that negative in life. Especially a sports team.

The last player going rogue/freelancing that I can remember is Terrence Newman ignoring Mike Zimmer in Minnesota and trying to shadow a WR he wasn't assigned to. The Vikings staff noticed it after the first drive.

Speaking of terrible interpretation, did u not catch that I said I caught the “Tail end” of the discussion? English is my primary language although I do speak Spanish, a little Hebrew, and a little Greek.
