I am not sure Dalton will ever start for a team again unless the starter goes down. I am just glad the Cowboys have a good backup. I don't think Rush was the answer.

Not sure I agree but I dig this. Almost everyone says "Rush was not the answer". You said "not sure" and I can respect that. Not sure how anyone could be so sure...when they never gave him a chance to show it.

If Dak signs Franchise Tag he starts, however, he'll be on a short leash.

If we go 0-3 (Rams -A, Falcons -H and Seahawks-A) - UNLIKELY but possible, then its conceivable we move on and Dalton will start vrs Browns.

If we lose those games and its a result of the offense breaking down like it did against winning teams last year, then I would agree Dakota should be pulled......but if its the opposite situation and the losses are on the defense I wouldn't make that change. for 40 Million Dollars we should be expecting a SuperStar at the QB position

Certainly don't think we'll go 0-3, but....

A POV would be that to get deep into a Playoff's we'd need to beat these 3 second tier NFC teams.

If we can't beat them what's the chance vrs 49ers / Saints.

It also brings into question that even if its not Dak's fault (not saying it would be) then we've got weaknesses that would need fixing....it would justfy that this team isn't strong enough and so should retool.

Not what you're calling a fair shake. He is the 2nd string. He knew that coming in. I'd say that is fair.
Agree first reps and practice reps go to Dak. We’ve tagged Dak the franchise Qb. It’s not like we don’t know what Dalton can do. Injury or Dak totally crapping the bed will we see Dalton.

I don't believe so, there isn't as much of a hating Dak fan base as most believe.

Cant convince those who have preconceived agendas that any honest critique of Dakota is equivalent to a hate crime.

That group is just the most loud, and tend to repeat themselves over and over even if the statement isn't true at all.

Problem is anyone who doesn't agree with everyone of Dak's demands is instantly called a "hater".

I would think most fans would want Dak to sign..... but its a team game.

I don't even know with certainty what Dak's demands are.

Do you think with or w/o a contract for Dak will Andy get a fair shake to compete and win the starting job? Will it make a difference if Dak is only the one yr deal or if signed long term?.
Lol he’s here to be the back up, whether Dak plays on franchise or signs long term it doesn’t matter! You don’t franchise someone to have them get beat out :lmao::facepalm:.

It will be one, if not "the", defining moment of how much say does this new coach actually have if Dak were to be out performed in both practice and preseason.

One of the very few reasons to keep my interest but a very compelling one.
