Will Dez ever be elite again?

Elite, who said he was ever elite.......I'd look to trade our 70 million glorified possession receiver after the season though...
He was never elite. He had a few good years, but never Julio, Antonio, etc. type elite. He cried so much today it was downright embarrassing.

This.

With Dak at QB, Dez will not put up the same numbers we would expect if Romo was starting.

Like it or not, Dak is a bus driver QB and will make different WRs look good from week to week. Dez will have his days but his numbers will not look as great every week.
:lmao:

I love how every time someone asks this they get villified.

It's not an unreasonable question. Dez is nowhere near elite right now. I'm tired of hearing the excuses.

Nobody is saying he sucks or that he should be cut, or that he doesn't still contribute. But he's not earning the $70 million contract.

Do you get the offense we run? Is Dez the issue for being grabbed on 2 of his targets and Dak missing him when he was wide open?

Dez wasn't getting 100 yards every other game in 2014 either. He just had a 100 yard game last week.

You are getting "vilified" because you lack understanding.

Is Dez inconsistent? Yes

Does he need to be traded? Hell no

His presence still allows them to do other things offensively. If we didn't have Dez today, Witten doesn't do what he did.

Hey look someone who has consistently been wrong has an opinion guys. Wonder how this is will go?

Where have I been wrong other than the 2014 season? Show me where you've ever been right on anything? Dez is still a good receiver but he's no longer an "elite" receiver. Witten keeps chugging along and Dez has faded at only 28 years old.

Dez complaining he was interfered in the endzone, we ended up scoring and he still crying on the sidelines. Yup a real team player. I am done with this guy lets trade him next year.

There were multiple players today going after the refs. Dez upset about how the refs were playing speaks nothing about him as a player. Players are allowed to get frustrated, they have more of a reason than fans. Yet here you are, along with many others, whining about refs as well weekly. It's about time players get on the refs. Next should be Goodell.

Dak is a bus driver???

Well I'm enjoying him taking us via the scenic route.

I thought the team would be good. You thought they wouldn't. Next.

Dallas has completed just 39 percent of passes thrown to Bryant, worst among all receivers on the team. Only Butler is also below 50 percent. Every other receiver is above a two-thirds proposition. Now he doesn't even make the difficult catches that were his specialty.

Well hot dog, one decent game.

Game plans aren't designed around him. We're a run first team, and we spread the ball around.

To just use stats as the only indication of what Dez brings to this team is laughable.
