Dez best play.. taking 3 guys out of the play on Beasley TD.. Beautiful
I would worry if the separation wasn't there or he was continually dropping passes that were fairly easy to make. I'd still like to see a legit deep threat beside him to make defenses pay if they bracket him deep.
Yes, Dez should just warp to other parts of the field when Dak goes full Tim Tebow when throwing.
Yes, a ball being 5 yards off the mark is on Dez. CBs pretty much humping Dez's arm today is on Dez. Dak missing him WIDE OPEN in the end zone is on Dez.
What is the point of watching games if you guys are just going to come onto this forum and toss out raw statistics and blatantly wrong statements?
Unreal.
On the first one, totally. It was a ton of contact and it should have been PI.Facts?
Interference should have been called on two of those throws (the 1st target to him today and the throw in the endzone).
How are y'all sitting here watching the games and COMPLETELY ignoring what's happening on the field.
Haden was holding Dez's left arm, preventing him from grasping the ball with both hands.
But let me guess, "buh, eliTe receifers shuld find a way!"
I wonder why Beasley's production has gone way up this year?
Dak said early in the season...I throw to guys that are open.
If you compare reels of Dez with other top receivers...I've done a bit on YouTube.. its blatantly obvious that Dez is often well covered..even smothered on his catches. He has a remarkable ability to catch balls when covered.
But Dez ISN'T very good at getting open.
He had four catches on 14 targets last week.
This is very true, his route running was downright awful in the Philly game.Dez is a very inconsistent, poor route runner for the most part.
Maybe because the guy is one of the faces of the franchise and he hasn't been relevant in most of the last two seasons. Also, if he would step his game back up to what he's capable of, we'd be even better. Why pick on Dez.....the team is 8-1.

The second one? Come on dude. If that's PI, there would be 20 PI penalties a game. He should have caught that for a touchdown.

By and large, the production of a WR -- elite to practice squad member -- is determined by the level of quality of play by the QB. When Roethlisberger is out, or off, Antonio Brown's numbers fall off a cliff. Hopkins has disappeared with bad QB play. So has Demaryius Thomas. When Ryan is bad, Jones doesn't produce. Brandon Marshall's numbers are way down with bad QB play. Beckham's are bad. Robinson's numbers are down when Bortles plays bad. Have all those guys fallen from the ranks of elite?
Dak is winning games, yes, but he's not lighting the world on fire statistically, so the guys whose numbers are directly dependent on him will suffer. Fantasy football is fun, but it's definitely exposed people who aren't able to separate FF knowledge from football knowledge.
Because he's throwing passes underneath, and because Dez has missed more than half the season?
No donk, saying you don't think something is the most prudent approach doesn't equate to saying it was a "mistake."
Have fun working the graveyard shift in shipping & receiving the rest of your life.
Like Romo throwing the ball to Dez in triple coverage and expecting Dez to make the catch while Dak's current strength is to look elsewhere and not throw interceptions (2 so far this year)? There is no doubt that Romo makes Dez a better player because what Dez does well isn't Dak's current strength. I say that in fairness to Dez.
Reread my posts in this thread and let me know if you still think I'm "reaching for excuses" for Dez Bryant.A "ton of contact"?? Seriously? You are reaching for excuses my son.
