The whole NY Mets organization is an utter failure. The Wilpons need to be forced to sell. Their financial mess is hindering their ability to run a baseball team.

Couldn't get a trade done
Failed at controlling the information
Didn't inform the manager
Left a player in limbo
No direction or clue at all

So is the Gomez deal off or is it still pending?

It may be wheelers physical but the guy just had tj surgery. What were they expecting to see. I believe Sandy and Milwaukee agreed to principals, then Jeff needed to negotiate money being transferred. Jeffy was probably demanding brewers pay Gomez salary for next two years and deal broke down. probably required them pay nieses salary too.even tho he was not in deal

Whatever happened, Wheeler is un-tradeable now. I say substitute Montero in there and get it done.

According to rodenthall Mets backed out because of Gomez hip. Lol, so they are trading a pitcher who just had surgery for a player who might have a hip problem. That is just strange.stupid mutts.

Wilpons way of saying that they tried and not to spend money. Besides, would you trust what the Mets doctors say? They don't have a good track record.

Not sure what was the bigger story last night, Hamels going to the Rangers or the total PR nightmare of the Mets/Brewers trade no trade Wilmer crying on the field. Maybe Wilmer was crying because he found out the trade was off. It isnt like the Mets have jerked the kid around the last few years and are doing it again.

I just heard on sports radio...

They asked Collins... Why didn't you take him out? NO ONE TOLD ME... I DIDNT KNOW???!!!

I'm sorry.... That is funny.

Maybe now, Flores will shake his arse. Gets him jump started!

There is your New York Mutts in a nutshell. Wheeler and Flores for Gomez is a steal for us!

I am hearing that Wheeler's physical is what the problem was for the deal to be cancelled. I sure hope that's what it was............

They can't even fix their own website's message boards. It is as slow as Christmas for two years now.

Just heard that the 20,000+ fans In the seats knew before Collins. That's is crazy!

so Red, feeling a little queezy with all the maneuvering the Jays are doing? Looks like they have gone all in.

It will be an interesting race to the finish.

The trading deadline isn't quite here yet. There may still be some cards played that could affect the division.

Pineda is being sent to the DL. That sound you don't hear is Reds heart not beating.

The Yankees starting staff has been held together with Band-Aids for the entire season. If there's one place where they aren't as good as several teams and that's in the starting rotation.

Could be their downfall.

As you've said all along. You said it before the season started.
