Will you continue to be a Cowboys fan and why

Yes, about 10 years ago I decided to just enjoy the games and not get so emotionally wrapped up in what happens with the team.

It makes it much easier to deal with losses like this even though that game was anything but entertaining.

Thank you for being honest.

Jerry appreciates your dedication to watching his product on the field. It all helps to make the cash register ring.

:flagwave:
To be fair, I watch all the games of other teams too so I guess I'm helping the whole league.

Yes, I will still be a fan. Why make all this suffering for nothing? I could NEVER invest myself emotionally in another team at this point.

By the way, to put this streak of playoff futility in perspective, the Cowboys last reached the Super Bowl my senior year in high school. I am now 45.

I have been a Cowboys fan for 50 years , I will stay a fan. But the feeling that is being felt by me after this stinker of a playoff loss is just sickening. This team was not ready to play a football game , that is on the head coach.Worst loss in Dallas playoffs history.

Lets face it . With out the Cowboys in the NFL , no matter how bad they are , it would be a pretty boring league .

That must have been pretty cool to see a dynasty in your 20s.

That would have totally skewed my perception of this franchise.

Instead, all I really know is Jerry Jones failures
And that’s a shame.

The Dallas Cowboys were really something to behold.

Stupid question. People actually think it matters. It's like voting. It doesn't matter. It's just something to give you the facade that it matters. Don't fool yourself into thinking you make a difference in the outcome.

I'm rooting for Texans. Great team over there. I don't see any stars. Just a team. That's how Noah Brown ended up there...he's a no ego, team player.

I have been a Cowboy fan (fan since ‘77). I am only a fan of the Cowboys and Michigan Wolverines football team…got interested in football by watching Wolverine football on Saturdays as a kid…

I am no fan of the NFL or NCAA…just those teams.

i quit watching hockey, baseball and basketball years ago…

i Will not be watching much football these playoffs…

I don't think it's stupid at all.

I agree that a single person's rooting interest doesn't affect the outcome, but I don't think that's really all that important here.

I think this thread is for people who feel like they're at a crossroads with this team. And though they cannot affect the outcome, they can choose not to be affected by the outcome either.

I think this is a good place to have that conversation with like-minded individuals

And oh how Jerry loves us for this sentiment, Z

Fans for life, come what may...

:flagwave:
He does not love me ...... I have not bought a Jersey in 20+ years and have never set foot in his new stadium.

Nothing I pay money for has the Cowboys on it.

After reading all the comments I can see why people say we have the worst fan base in the sports.

I will never change teams. I'm no fair-weather, bandwagon fan. WTH? Stupid.

But! Changes are needed. MAJOR changes!
