Winningest NFL Franchise Despite 2 decades of mediocrity

You have to be an idiot to be satisfied with this team over the last 20 years. Bears better than the Pats? A completely pointless data set.

Not at all. Still useful. However, context is missing in those stats. A breakdown by decade, or other time period, etc. would be more helpful to analyse these results.

You know....I don't want to be that guy but I always wondered how we only had 5 rings......well I know in the Jimmy era we would've had more had they not disrupted the dynasty.....but the Landry era? Seems like 2 rings was. underachievement......understandn though before y'all jump down my throat I wasn't even born then so just curious the opinion of those that were.
I was a fan then and yes I agree with u the cowboys should of won at least one more superbowl in the landry area and maybe two

That’s more like it. Many, many thanks.

I always associated winning with championships. Guess we can feel better now.

Pretty sure I said something in another threar today about Cowboys fans being notorious for living in the past. Any little stat to fill the losing/mediocre void over the past 30 years that makes them feel better.

Garrett's career win percentage is 56.6%. 66.7% the past 3 seasons.
Shows how little these numbers mean.

We have above average talent carrying Garrett. Garrett needs to step up in the playoffs, BUT he never does.

Let's see the pats who has been to 9 SB since our last appearance plus plays in a much weaker division is below us? Please explain.

The bottom 3 teams have been to a SB since the last time the Cowboys went. 7 of the teams under .500 have gone to a SB.
