Henry is a one-trick pony. Straight ahead. Doesn't catch the ball well. Not really that physical for his size. Takes a while to get to top speed.

Elliott can do EVERYTHING. Tremendous pass blocker and receiver. Runs inside tough, and outside quick. Can break away. Never have to take him off the field.

Very, very different backs.

i like elliot, but i also like henry.

would love to see him doing this to anyone not already pancaked by la'el or zack.

Henry isn't considered a physical runner. Straight-line fast with no moves at all. Takes a while to get going.

Think of Ron Dayne.

He's a better version of Brandon Jacobs IMO

I don't know. Nobody touched him for five yards.

He doesn't break tackles. That bothers me for a guy his size.

Yes but size wise (weight& height), north and south runner, not very agile side to side, etc. all screams of Brandon Jacobs to me. I still remember Ware tackling him for a loss behind the LOS on a sweep.

I just prefer the compact types that can start and stop more quickly, but still find room in short yardage.

Tunsil is not a fit at RT to replace Free. He is strictly a LT for a year or two. He's not nearly strong enough to play RT now. Look at the
tape guys.

How is he not be strong enough to play RT but good enough to play LT?

What if you take Elliott at 4 and go defense the rest of the draft?

Makes sense to me but does it to Jerry? I would be ok with it. The more I read about EE, the more I like him. He might just be that gem that we can't afford to pass up on.

He might just be that gem the Giants jump up to #3 and take from us.

He's much better at pass blocking than run blocking at this point in time. He would be great at protecting Romo's blindside but not so
much on runs. Besides we have a great LT so he would not be valuable for at least a year or two.

I'm a little concerned about that -- not just the Giants, but other teams. Why? A couple of reasons -- first, EE is really, really good. And if the Giants can land him, not only are they adding to their team, they're subtracting from the Cowboys' offensive firepower. Kind of the Chip Kelly move from last year. Secondly, the Chargers are very interested in an offensive lineman, but do they have to have Tunsil? A lot of other really good offensive linemen that can be had in the top 15 or so. Thirdly, Chargers ownership might want to put it to Jerry Jones, he was instrumental in getting the Rams to L.A....which means he was instrumental in preventing the Chargers from doing so. If Chargers ownership believe Jones wants a specific player, who's to say they wouldn't trade out of that spot with a team they knew was going to steal that player out from under Jones?

I only see teams trading up for Tunsil or Ramsey, and I don't think teams are convinced Dallas is taking Elliott so they'll just take their chances.

However, a division opponent like the Giants just might. But they need offensive linemen really badly.

Quit wasting this OL. Put a potential All star back behind them and great things will happen. We keep trying to get cute w our RBs.

Watch these RBs produce nothing and zeke shine sumwhere else.

Well at this point it leaves Ramsey or Zeke as a pick. I could see Lynch but he may sit on the bench most of his rookie contract. A wasted pick.

I remember Jacobs being s pain in the a Cowboys backside too. He was not a bad player at all .

Man take Zeke & then bolster the rest of the weak spots with all of those picks we have. Zeke equals a healthy Romo. This is not rocket science. Our QB hopes were dashed so Zeke has to be plan B. & a very worthy plan B at that.

No doubt man. You nailed that one. :hammer:

Someone else said it earlier. Zeke = 7 points every game. He takes us from having an avg non threatening running game back to a far above avg pro bowl level defense haunting running game. Easy pick at 4... Then, like erod said, use every remaining pick to stock up on defensive beasts. This is a deep draft defensively.
