With trades Who Falls To 10 Now?

dont get your hopes for Pitts, you will have a similar let down like in the Aaron Donald draft.
Its hard to be let down by Pitts. I'm iffy on taking a tight end there but the Cowboys will have their chance at essentially the best defensive player in the draft as well as some offensive guys if they want it. They are in a perfect spot.

He might be the best college TE that I’ve ever seen.

Kellen Winslow, Jr and Jeremy Shockey at the Univ of Miami were the best college TE's I have seen.

1. Jax - QB
2. Jets - QB
3. Niners - QB
4. Falcons - QB? TE? CB?
5. Cincy - OL
6. Dolphins - WR
7. Lions - WR
8. Panthers - QB?
9. Broncos - CB?
10. Dallas - ???

So who does this make fall to Dallas?

OT Slater --Northwestern. Have to protest your QB with what Dallas have invested in. Can not take the chance, anymore, that Tyron Smith can stay on the field. If Smith is on the field, then Slater can play LG and will be the future LT.

I think the overwhelming assumption is that Wilson is where they go, but it's not yet a lock like Lawrence to Jacksonville.
Disagree. Lawrence to JVille and Wilson number 2 are 100% locks. The fact that Meyer didn't go to Provo says so. J Ville has tickets, gear, and hope to sell. Easiest way to that is draft Lawrence.

No doubt... but who could take him prior to 10? Possibly Cincy but they need OL bad and Sewell is a generational talent himself.

Falcons? Maybe.

Detroit probably won’t because they just spent a top 10 pick on TJ Hockenson.

Panthers might.

Broncos used a 1 on Fant, so probably not.

There is a chance he makes it to 10.

Don't forget the dolphins. A top TE is a young QB best friend.

People need to really stop thinking of Pitts as just a TE. He can line up outside as well and effectively.

Don't be shocked if someone takes him over the top wideouts.
I expect it.
I think Miami takes him.

Re-read my post.
I said that although Lawrence is a lock I wasn't 100% sure that Wilson was as well.

Whoever it is the Cowboys covet, he'll go #9 to the Broncos. Bank on it.

why wouldn't Miami be in the Pitts market

why wouldn't Miami be in the Pitts market

I said this already in this thread but:

Miami certainly could take Pitts, but they’re in big need of a game breaking wideout there. It’s been a primary need for them since the season ended, and at pick 6 they should have their choice of any WR as they’ll all probably still be on the board.

Plus they have a 2018 high round (2nd) TE in Gesecki there who is really talented and has a high ceiling. Not as high as Pitts of course... but he could be a pro bowler very easily. At the combine he ran a 4.54 second 40 yard dash and vertical jumped 41.5 inches. That tells you the high caliber athlete he is at TE. I could be wrong, but I don’t think they want to give up on him yet

We will see, but WR just makes a lot more sense for them. Not to mention that Chase is a pretty rare prospect himself.

If you’re talking to me, you must remember how much I was banging the table for Donald. And yes, I was crushed when the Rams took Donald and still hate Jeff Fisher to this day, haha.

Slater is a good player. If that’s what the team decides, I’ll be ok with it.

Think Fields goes to the 49ers, will they take Lance? Could see them dealing with Carolina to move back
I don’t know... I think they might like Lance. They loved him at his pro day last week and if it is Fields that they like, the timing is strange on that trade. Fields hasn’t had his pro-day yet. You’d think they’d at least want to see Fields pro day before they pulled the trigger on such a high-end trade.

Now, maybe they like Fields and Lance and they made the trade because they are guaranteed one of the two at the 3rd pick. However, if I had to guess, I’d say it is Lance. He fits their offense to a tee.

Could very well be. We know it's either Lance or Fields at that spot. Question is does Atlanta take the other one or does a team like Carolina or Denver trade up? I wonder if Atlanta goes QB, does Mac Jones get drafted in the top 10? That would be huge for the Cowboys if it happened.
