Witten & Ware Updates

Lead on caboose.

I'll do what I wish. I have been updating their stats all season long and I will continue to do so even if the chapping of your *** causes you a nasty rash.

No problem. Class and humility were never your strong suits anyway.

God man I can hardly wait until the day finally comes and we win a Super Bowl and the CowboysZone exists at the same time.

The last SB wins there was no CowboysZone and I would LOVE to see what this place is like after winning it all, rather than the inevitable infighting we all do after losing.

I figure this this place would be one huge lovefest and I can't hardly wait to experience it. :)

Mark my words - someone will find something to complain about.

No need. You've admitted on more than one occasion that you have a huge ego. Too bad it's not deserved.

Okay, I'm off to bed. Sweet dreams, gang.

I do have one. The difference between you and me is I am honest.

I sense much anger and consternation in this thread. Need I remind y'all:

But, yeah, our team sucks.

Here's a stat for you guys.

10 out of 10 times, I enjoy 100% of Hostile's posts, while bbgun's consistently negative posts bug 3 out of 5 times. The other 2 times I just assume he's going to be negative and skip over them.

Oh, and I love these updates myself. Ware and Witten are making history, and we are witnessing it. So we can't enjoy that if we lose? That's ridiculous. With all the hundreds of threads made here every week, I think that Ware and Witten deserve at least one. Get a grip, people.

Impossible to put any positive spin on this game unless you evaluate it within a vacuum isolated from the special teams meltdown in NY, the coaching gaffe against NE, Tony's meltdown against Detroit, the wide receivers still running the wrong routes or not knowing the plays, the continued OLE! shotgun snaps, or whatever off-the-wall screw up we'll pull out of our hat to lose the next game.

For what its worth, NE had their bye week and reverted to looking pretty average on defense as Ruthlessraper destroyed them through the air. Note to Garrett, they didn't force the issue into the strength of NE's run defense, now did they?

Hours after we just got beat down and embarrassed by a division rival that scored on every one of their possessions up until the 4th quarter or so?

No, the negativity, however distasteful, is fully warranted. Accept it for the next 24 hours as any coach or team does. The results on the field were a joke and justifies the complaints.

No loss nor passage of time warrants the kind of reactions and name calling that bbgun and others are resorting to in this and other threads.

And complaints about the team are one thing, but to piss and moan because someone is updating a weekly (win or lose) thread about two of our franchise's all-time players' historical achievements is ludicrous. Don't like the thread and want to whine and cry? Find one of the other hundred threads to do so.

For me it is about how I was raised. Hard to explain, but I let other people freak out. I handle it as calmly as I can and move on.

When fans stop caring if the team wins or not is when Jerry needs to start getting very concerned.

I am disappointed tonight, but there is a silver lining. Looks like I am going to win our sig bet because I dont see any way Garrett gets this team to 10 wins for the season.

We will have to win 7 of the last 9 to get to 10-6.........I think I am going to win our bet.:D

No, it doesn't warrant the personal attacks. However, the timing of it puts it squarely in the cross-hairs of the fans who are exceptionally disappointed in the results of the team's effort, or perceived lack thereof. Regardless of if it's published immediately after every game or not, after this loss it's the last thing a lot of people want to see. If it weren't for the fact that I've been personally following the leaders in the sack stat this year, this thread would've come across as a fresh slap across the face.

It's the quintessential essence of someone saying "Come on, cheer up!" to a person who's distinctly not in the mood to hear it. In time yes, but not tonight.

Yeah but if we win the Super Bowl we'll be too happy to care. :)

I feel I was numb to the loss thanks to the Rangers.

(not writing the next to you)

I still think we are heading in the right direction. You know what? **** happens. But I'm kind of the same way with wins and losses (the Ranger games not withstanding, man those hurt). But it is a long season. Do I feel better when the Cowboys win? I sure do. Do I feel bad when the Cowboys lose? Sure as hell do. But man, to let it drive my life like others do, jeez. And the constant obsession with everybody having to be miserable at the same time after a loss is quite nauseating. (Case in point, people in this thread).

The season is long, although getting shorter. But we are in good shape. Super Bowl worthy? No, still have some pieces to go. But playoffs and being a tough out? You betcha.

Completely agree. Honestly Hos and other mods are bigger men and women than me. I wouldn't stand for this kind of behavior. My word people, there is no reason to piss and moan at each other.

Whoa now. Lets get some sycophants together and berate this guy for trying to ruin such an important thread. Internet message board legends don't just grow on trees. We should all sleep better now that we know useless stats.

BB has some great posts on this site. He just doesn't pucker up and actually chooses to think on his own over following what's popular.

Pretty hypocritical to complain about the attacks on each other, and then do just that. Keep up the strong work.

I know man. It's the only positive thing that has come from the Rangers loss....the numbness. I was trying to fall asleep last night and all I could do was relive all the moments that if done differently, would have delivered us the Series. Been three days and I still can't stop the obsessing but I will say it has eased just a little bit so I know it will get better. :) Was hoping the Cowboys winning would help move me past it but like you say at least the loss hurt less than usual. normally losing to the Eagles this way I would have gone ballistic.
