Wonder if Romo would be less turnover prone if he is put back in the starting lineup?

It doesn't matter who was on defense romo came up small in do or die games. the best defense is a better offense
Universally, some fans remember how one position performs exclusively and rarely recall how well or poorly (in the case of football) the other offensive, defensive and special teamers played in any game--and sometimes DURING the course of a particular game. Thus fault is often verbally laid at the feet of one player. It's remedial sports observation.

BS… That team had 4–12 written all over it. The only, and I do mean only, reason they ended up at 8-8 is Tony Romo.

Dak has shown to me he will make poor decisions when under pressure, which is a common rookie trait. Lucky for Cowboy fans he hasn't been under pressure much and has gotten lucky and not had the poor decisions cost him much, but Romo makes better decisions.

In 1988, Montana threw eleven interceptions in nine out of 17 games, missing two regular season games. He threw three interceptions in a loss to the Falcons during the regular season and an interception in the 49ers win in their Vikings playoff game.

Montana missed three regular season games and threw eight interceptions in six of those games, while staying perfect in three postseason victories.

In 1990, Montana threw 16 interceptions in eleven out of 15 regular season games, including three straight games where he threw two interceptions each outing. There's also his three interception game during a Rams loss. He also threw an interception in the 49ers playoff victory over Washington (the 49ers lost to the Giants the following week).

You should feel fortunate. Montana missed seven games during that stretch. He was perfect in less than half of his remaining games (22) that he didn't throw at least one interception. 22 out of 50 games. Interesting.

He may need some aloe

I thought about this as well. In '14, he had one of his best overall statistical years and although he was brilliant, our offense was so balanced and dominant on the ground.

I feel he could come in with Zeke and do the same thing and possibly open up the offense even more because of his experience.

Only thing is..do you want to fix what's not broken...?

Do I want to fix the fact that Dak is only using 1/4 the playbook that Romo uses ? Or do I want to fix the fact that the coaching staff doesn't trust Dak to make full field reads and throw more down field passes ? Yeah I really want to fix it before the playoffs I'm beginng to realize you guys don't watch film your just being lead along by the media you don't really see that Dak is being baby sat by the coaching staff. I like Dak I think he has a high ceiling but he's a rookie and has a aways to go before he comes close to being the QB Romo is. Do I want to see Dak disappear again for 3 quarters like he did against Philly or do I want to watch Kessler throw more balls down field while Dak dinks it around ? With Romo this offense will rivel some of the best offensive football seen in the league like the 2000 Rams or the 2007 Patriots. You guys think the team looks good with Dak but they are not putting up nearly the numbers they should be because Dak is inexperienced not because he's bad he is just a rookie and Rookies are bus drivers at best.

We aren't talking about Eli here, Romo is well above league average in limiting his interceptions. He doesn't eliminate them to the detriment of everything else like Rodgers, but he's not somebody that struggles with throwing interceptions compared to the rest of the league.
