LOL. The announcers were the one who said the "BOOK" for me to know that fact, as well as Jimmy Johnson.

Going for two would have put us ahead a field goal. And if we scored a TD, we'd be up 13-5 which would cause them to score a TD and a two point conversion. There was absolutely nothing wrong with that call, and the only reason anyone is making an issue out of it is because the media kept reinforcing that I'm not sure he should have done this or that.

I didn't read your mind. I saw from your calling out "coach Bozo" that you weren't being rational. And you're not.

No, you singled out my criticism of Parcells as the reason for us losing the game, and that is NOT what I did.

And FYI, I *****ed about the call for TWO the second he made it.

Fact of the matter is, it's the LAST thing I listed in my thread about the reasons we lost the game.

But you, who blindly worship at the alter of Parcells, knee jerk react and blow a comment way out of proportion.

I think I know what I am thinking about the game more than you do. So if you'd like to ask "Hey Juke, are you saying Parcells blew the game with that call"

I'd say "of course not. Don't be ridiculous. BUT it was a lousy decision"

Nuff said. I'm not wasting my time with people who discuss things I didn't say.

I don't blindly worship anyone at the altar.

And I'm sorry if I took your comment about "Coach Bozo" as blowing things way out of proportion. ;)

The only thing you didn't say in your post is how it all starts at the top, and who's at the top? What you meant is clear as day.

I'm not just talking about today's officiating debauchery. Officiating across the NFL has just been absolutely horrid all season.

The league needs to take a serious look at their referees after this season.

wow! i just saw the facemask. he let go right away. not a 15 yarder. terrible call
Easy to call that watching replays but we're not on the field in the middle of that crazy play trying to ref. I don't think it's hard to believe a ref thought his head got jurked pretty bad. I'm more pissed that about 8 Commanders could have bocked that kick.

that's horse****...incidental facemask--he touched it barely.

what else could 'incidental facemask' mean than what we saw on the play?

that's garbage. I never blame the refs for a loss but this is the perfect time to. complete ****ing disgrace

If you're going to blame the refs than don't stop there. I can't count how many blatant offensive holding calls went unnoticed.

The Cowboys had a ton of penalties and should have had a ton more. Despite that the Commanders were still able to pull out a win.

You're young quarterback looks like a keeper though.

Despite what? The fact that the Cowboys could have got more penalties??

I'd change that "despite" to a "because of..." There were blown calls on both sides, but 150 yards in them is outrageous.

I could have the done the same for your team. That's what happens in every game, if they call or don't call the holding in a balanced manner.

It's the other penalties that were egregious.

No, I will STOP THERE--cause that's when the GAME STOPPED!!

I agree that the refs were terrible throughout the game for both teams. But in this circumstance, to make a bad call at a time when it will directly affect the outcome of the game deserves more attention than ALL other bad calls.

Even if it is a five yard penalty, there's no guarantee the Cowboys can win in overtime. But the fact is, they made a bad call at a time in the game where there is NOTHING the Boys could do to overcome it. That is, the facemask call was WORSE than every other ****ty call in the game because it happened with ZERO seconds left on the clock. The Cowboys could do nothing about it! They were subject to the call! They had no opportunity to overcome the poor call--whereas both teams had plenty of chances during the entire course of the game to overcome all the other examples of poor officiating.

It's outrageous that the Cowboys comitted so many penalties. And it's outrageous how many more they made which did not get called. Even Troy Aikman commented on "yet another Cowboys hold that's not called".

Take it like a man. You guys got beat. If you had played better you would have won. Don't blame it on the refs blame it on T.O. for missing a sure touchdown and for Vanderjact (however you spell it) for kicking a a ball with zero height.

Somehow, hearing this from a 'Skins fan is making me think I'm living right now in bizarro world.

For once HH and I agree.

No way in hell was that a 15 yarder. Not even Commanders fans think that was a 15 yarder, and if any of them do, they're ********.

And that call DIRECTLY lead to the Skins win.

It wasn't even CLOSE to being a 15 yarder.

It was definately a face mask, his head defiantely turned fully sideways and fast. Some refs may have called that a five yarder some a 15.

Don't be a sore loser. You lost the game. If the rest of the team has the same attitude you do than the Cowboys are certain to lose a bunch more.

They should be blaming themselves for not playing better.

You're young quarterback looks pretty good though.

Essentially, doesn't the facemask call make up for the two holding calls that Dallas got away with? I mean, even Witten was looking for a flag on one of them....

I'm not being a sore loser. The Skins played like they wanted it, and very well could've won in overtime. They deserve credit for the way they played--and I'm not trying to take anything away from them

I'm upset because the call was at a point in the game that it directly affected the outcome of the game. Basically, the call came at a point when there was absolutely nothing the Boys could do to make up for it. It came at a point that gave the Boys NO CHANCE to overcome it.

I hate poor officiating cause so often it will ruin a game completely...I get no joy out of playing or watching sports when referees are this important towards the outcome.

Yea, that was a terrible call -- no doubt about it. However, like many have already stated, we blew some golden opportunities to put that game away.

The Oline and secondary lack discipline. They simply cannot sustain a level of consistency necessary to win these type of close ballgames, and that's what separates the good teams from the great teams. Until our coaching fixes that, we're gonna continue to be just "good".
