"But the biggest question the Cowboys have this off-season, not just from the line standpoint but the entire team, is the status of longtime Pro Bowl guard Larry Allen.
The 12-year veteran is one of three Cowboys (along with Roy Williams and Jason Witten) to play in Sunday's Pro Bowl in Hawaii. But could this be the last time Allen dons a Cowboys helmet?
The veteran guard is scheduled to count $7.55 million against the Cowboys' salary cap next season, including a $2 million roster bonus that is due in March. If the Cowboys decide to release Allen to avoid the bonus, they would save about $3.5 million in cap space this year, after eating some $4 million in his prorated signing bonus.
But if Allen is gone, might there be even more problems for this Cowboys offensive line next season. Despite being 34 and moving a bit slower these days, Allen is still considered one of the strongest players in the entire league. He has been selected to the Pro Bowl 10 times in his 12-year career, including the last two seasons.
Behind him, the Cowboys have unproven players in Stephen Peterman, a 2004 third-round pick who has yet to play anything but special teams, and Cory Procter, who was signed off of Detroit's practice squad in mid-season."

In my opinion, I hope LA takes a pay cut and stays, but realistically, I don't see that happening. So, if that doesn't happen, then the Boys might just cut LA and sign one or two FA OL along w/drafting an OL in the first and second rounds of next year.
