Would Dak's agent put pressure on Jones by holding out of TC?

What has Jerry Jones done this offseason to make people think he cares either way? A Dak holdout just gives him an excuse to tank and see what he has in Lance. The only real loser in this scenario is Dak.
If they play Lance it does not equate to tanking. It would be status quo

He could. I don't think it's highly likely but we won't know unless we try. Of course, we won't try if Dak doesn't hold out.
This is true. My question is how long will Dak last playing behind the revamped Offensive Line.

Would anyone care at this point? With the credibility damage Jerry has done to this team this offseason he might as well change the star to an X...

Depends on how much we revamp it. No matter what, though, there will likely be some growing pains ... even if we take steps to improve it. Can't go from a perennial All-Pro left tackle to a first-year player, second-year player or rookie and not expect there to be some. For that matter, you can't plug in any player for a future Hall-of-Famer and not expect there to be some. Center may not be as big of a step down from Biadasz, but we'll see. If it's Hoffman, I think it will be a pretty good drop-off. If we take a first-round center, it could be an improvement.

is it possible that Dak’s agent, could really put the pressure on the Jones clowns by holding him out of training camp and into the season?
Do you know how dumb that would be? The penalties are punitive for players under contract that don’t show up. If he sat out all year, he would still have to play here next year. The contract doesn’t expire based on date. The lack of thought on this board by everyone I read is amazing.

Even if the replacement bombs I don't think that forces their hand. It just improves their chances of drafting a suitable replacement.
I think it does, because the only reason they would be playing Lance is due to the holdout. I don't think they are going into next season thinking they won't compete. If Lance played well, it would shuffle the cards in Dallas' favor. If not, then it would be like us starting 0-2 without Emmitt, they'd cave faster than McCarthy on a diet.

Who will cave in to the demands of the other first?

If I was a betting man I'd say past history repeats itself and Jerry offers him an extension.

On Dak's terms too.

Sad but true.

Should he hold out? Maybe.

The first question to ask is if he is in the best shape of his life….take it from there.

lol hold out? This is the contract him and his greedy agent wanted. Cowboys wanted to sign him to a longer term but he wanted a shorter one to hit FA again. He about to get his wish. And being a older QB (31 at the start of the season) sitting out a year may lessen his value.
