I simply ask would he be a better option. Romo is average. Kitna is average. Therefore he may be a better option,no worse.lol.

Why do you say that? Kitna is the man at quarterback. It's just that well, well, duh...well, he's lost a few games himself and has won no rings in the NFL. But well, duh, uh, Romo's stats aside, he'd be a better option.

You were claiming your love for Romo a week ago.

Dandelion in the wind.

I've been claiming it since the o-nickle. That's 2005 for all of you who don't speak gangster rap.

ASk the Lions and Bengal fans: NO

Yeah, because the Lions and Bengals have the same amount of talent as the Cowboys.

I like Kitna as a backup QB because he has ability to win a few games if the starter gets hurt and gladly accepts his role and will help out both the starter and the 3rd string QB.

As a QB Kitna has been routinely a bad decision maker as well, although I don't think he's been as bad as Romo can be at his worst. However, he doesn't have Romo's pocket presence, mobility and quick release.

I believe that we really couldn't pull Romo last night, but I believe that if Romo keeps it up I'm benching him and not even batting an eye over it. And if I'm benching him, I'm also thinking about a replacement for Romo.

Here's the GOOD thing about benching Romo in favor of Kitna. If Kitna comes in and plays very well and is a noticeable improvement over Romo, then we know that Romo is the problem. Furthermore, if that doesn't motivate Romo to stop making poor decisions, then absolutely nothing will. But if Kitna comes in and plays poorly, then there's probably more to the problems than Romo.

So, at least we would know and I think either way that it should motivate Romo to stop making bad decisions and if not, then nothing will.

And if I'm Wade and Garrett, the very first thing I mention to him is that I want my Pro Bowl punter to be doing the 'punts' for us. Not Romo with his dumb picks.

We need a qb in draft. A real qb. Trade loser Romo and trade up and get a real qb. Bradford. Mccoy. Tebow.

This best rhetoric is a bit myopic, people...As Parcells would say, let's not put him in Canton yet...The guy hasn't even won a playoff game and we're still stuck on 'best'?...Tell me that confidence isn't eroding among Cowboy fans that Romo isn't going to botch a big game

Great QBs are like an Aikman, Cowboy fans have to remember how he would perform in big games...We didn't see this kind of consistent implosion in big games from Troy...So to continue to call Romo great just sounds like fans sipping too much from the kool aid.

Win first, annoint later

Exactly. Thank you. BP would bench his butt to get the point across. Romo just is careless. He needs to learn a lesson. Hey Mccnabb got benched last year then came back to guide them to the NFC Championship.

Bradord maybe, McCoy is basically Romo he's been having exactly the same struggles with passes being off target this season as Romo has

I agree Mccoy has been struggling some in first halfs. He plays nice in 2nd half though. Dude Tebow has the will of a lion and is a winner. Unlike loser Romo.

Apparently Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco, Ben Roethlisberger and Mark Sanchez didn't have a problem being ready in their rookie year.

And I believe we've got the talent to support and QB like that for a year. Then in year 2 and 3 we can start thinking about prospering beyond November.

The only problem with some guys in college, and I find this to be the case with SEC star players is that their dream in life was to be a star SEC player. Once that's accomplished they lose their drive. I have no idea if that's Tebow's ambition, but he's always wanted to play at Florida and he's got surreal popularity. Talent wise there's no doubt in my mind he can do it, even without being a factor to run the ball. He's got a huge arm, good pocket presence, etc.
