You can't help yourself can you?

I'm still not off his bandwagon. Forgive me for supporting our qb, but I don't want to start a debate and I don't think it's necessary, as I see you're actually supporting him more than most people on this board. Kudos for that.

I just find it funny that after last night's game it seems most are down so much on Romo. It's like the coaching staff had nothing to do with us not controlling the ball more on the ground. We could have won and Romo can't do this all by himself.

As I said, not looking for a debate here. I've seen Romo in person since then and I can actually see what you saw in his arm, although it's sort of deceiving. I was walking up to the practice field in Oxnard and thought it must have been a coach or someone throwing the ball. Nope. It was Romo and his passes looked like that all day. Maybe he takes it easy on his arm in practice?

In any case, I'm supporting our guy. I don't feel it was his fault last night even though he took the blame. Fans just irk me and a tad bit of sarcasm comes out in me when people jump off the wagon after we lose with seconds left.

It was sort of a joke towards other posters, but sort of not because I'm not jumping off his wagon. The guy is talented and I think you agree based on your posts and threads.

I wonder if others were watching the same game as I was because there is plenty of blame to go around, yet the knee jerks are calling for Romo's head.

Baffling.

Apparently Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco, Ben Roethlisberger and Mark Sanchez didn't have a problem being ready in their rookie year.

And I believe we've got the talent to support and QB like that for a year. Then in year 2 and 3 we can start thinking about prospering beyond November.

YAKUZA

That's the whole problem. Fans don't have the patience to realize this is still September.

I am supporting him too. Only because I have no choice. So we are on same page. We both are forced to support a loser for the sake of our favorite team.

Romo is a loser. If he wins next week you'll be kicking up dust, while you run, trying to catch up to jump back on his bandwagon.

"Wait for me! Wait for me!", you'll say.

Over-react much? Didn't see your "loser" post last week after the Tampa game.

Even during the game last night, I was posting that if it did become a loss, it's not all on Romo...The D didn't do much to keep the Giants out of the endzone or moving the ball either...Particularly considering they did an effective job limiting the running game.

Still, I'm not sure how one can summarily label the criticism of Romo as knee jerk...Is this the first time this has happened?...It used to be that these sort of breakdowns would happen in December...This year, it's begun in September.

As Yakuza has also pointed out, at some point what you're seeing is what is reality - not fan fiction that he's 'great'....We've all seen the great moments from Romo but not in the big games and certainly not when we needed him too pull out wins

Romo is not a bad QB but he is definitely not great...Maybe he will be great one day but he may also be what we already see - wildly inconsistent...Tell me that many fans aren't thinking implosion as opposed to brilliance from Romo when it's a big game and it's tight?...Whatever percentages it may have been before last night, my guess is that it's certainly jumped higher now.

I tried and kept having faith that he turned the corner but he hasnt and he wont. You will see that eventually. Yes he will bounce back but in the long run it just prolongs the pain. He isnt the man. he will crumble in a big game again.

Kitna is a less talented tony romo...can sling the ball, make every pass but makes stupid mistakes and turnover at the worse possible time.

We need a qb in draft. A real qb. Trade loser Romo and trade up and get a real qb. Bradford. Mccoy. Tebow.

LOL! Oh brother. The same Bradford whose a friggen twig and can't take the pounding an NFL QB will take? He'd be gone by week 3 with a season ending injury behind our O-Line.

Tebow won't be playing QB in the NFL. I don't know if you've actually watched him pass but he doesn't exactly have an NFL caliber Arm.

McCoy? Oh man. Right.

That was when things are good. Fairweather fans tend to jump on and off the bandwagon week to week.

Im not a fairwether fan joker. I just am done with Romo. I am now forced to cheer for a loser QB for the sake of my love for my team. Keep having faith he will burn u again and again.

Keep telling yourself you're not a fairweather fan. But anyone who is a fan of him one week, praising him and slobbering all over him, and then the very next week is crying like a baby is nothing more than a fairweather fan.

I have no respect for your opinion on anything football related because you clearly change your opinion of players, and such, from week to week depending on what happened in the most recent game.

Many of the same myopic fans were saying the same thing when several zoners were talking of dumping Roy Williams, the safety...Some pick up on the obvious early, some figure it out after it's already too late and then some never do

I support romo because He's a Cowboy...If there is a better option which there isnt I would pull him without thinking about it. With that said, if romo has a couple more stupid games like this they should bench his sorry butt like mcnabb and teach Him a lesson.

Dude what bandwagon? We went 9-7 last year. All there is left is loyal fans that are pist off. If We win next week we will be happy, nobody is jumping on or jumping off at this point.
