Would the Cowboys be 4-1 with Dak?

Yes we would be 4-1 and our offense would be the #1 offense in the league along with our top rated defense. In addition power rankings would have us at #1 way ahead of the egirl frauds. Prescott is still the best QB n the NFCE if not the NFL. Tonight Hurts will be exposed for the talentless fraud he is. HOW BOUT THOSE COWBOYS!!!

Good question. Would the Cowboys have been as run focused as we’ve seen? Something to think about…..

Nope

I have seen plenty of games with Dak where the defense shuts down the opposing team yet Dak and the offense is MIA

Does everyone remember the Saints and Patriots games in 19??

And last season against the Broncos our defense was out there the whole game because of our offense going 3 and out all game until the 2 garbage time TDs against their backups

It depends on what kind of Dak we get. The one who played great at the beginning of last year or the one who played in the 49er and TB games.

So what happened against the Buccaneers? The Buccaneers were held to only 19 points.
Well if you would have watched the game you would have seen Moore’s game plan was pure trash and the Bucs defense was ready. Cowboys abandoned the run early. OL was terrible. Lamb sucked. Try watching the games and you will see it.

Rush starting forced KM to change the offense. The offense we are running now needs to continue with Dak. If we were running the previous offense (with Dak), I think we would have at least 1 more L

To even it up, Dak was hardly prime rib, Noah in the 3rd was one of the worst throws that week in the whole NFL, could argue that at one of the throws that Lamb dropped were a combination of WR/QB's fault and Helman seemed to think that it was Dak that was changing the plays......oh and the Buccs played to the Denver Blueprint.

Oh Helman thought that? Well jeez I should just change my whole thing if Dave Helman said so.
Come on man. Be better. Helman is a clown of the highest order.

The anti-Dak bias is at its apex. It clouds your judgement. Did Dak play well? No. Did Moore help? On the contrary he created the mess.

So rather than discuss the points, you revert to trashing. I see both sides of the argument and Dak isnt above criticism (despite being the more talented QB).

The problem arises when certain fan's see no issue in Dak's play....always someone else's fault.

I don't think anyone on this board can honestly say "yes".
And that speaks volumes.
I can honestly say yes. Rush does what he is asked which isn’t much. This offense right now is fairly anemic but guys on this board think he is Brady

Absolutely.

Not only would the Cowboys be 4-1, Dak would have laid at least 30 on a couple of those teams.

Unlike those who disagree, I'm going to offer a reasonable explanation for that belief,

First of all, same Cowboys defense regardless of the starting QB. This is important because it was the defense that won the game, not the quarterback. As such, Dak would only need to score 18 points at the most, in each game.

The Cowboys would still have the same kicker, Maher influenced the outcome of the game more than Cooper Rush

Last season the Cowboys under Dak scored an average of 32.5 points. So basically, we are asking if Dak can score a little over half the average points from last year.

Also Dak has the Commanders and Giants number. He is 9-2 against the Giants, 9-1 against the Commanders.

Against the Rams, the Cowboys offense didn't get on the field until it was already 6-0 in their favor and that drive started on the Rams 20 yard line. The Rams only scored 10 points so with only a half of a quarter played, Dak would have to find a way to score 2 points in order to win.

In order to get a more realistic perspective, we should ask ourselves what Cooper Rush did for the Cowboys to win 4 straight and then compare that to Dak's last four starts.

Last Four Starts

Cooper Rush 65-115-775- 4TD-0INT

Dak Prescott 87-133-985-12TD-1INT

There is nothing to indicate that Dak wouldn't have the same record for those four games, quite the contrary. It wouldn't have been close.
Great explanation

No one claims that Rush is Brady. However, one does have to ask if Dak is that much more of an improvement than Rush.
