Would the Cowboys be in the Super Bowl if they had just signed Brady?

You underestimate the POWER of the GOAT. If anyone could have over come the gloom in Dallas...it would have been TB12. You can't convince me....#12 wouldn't have taken things into his own hands...and start running the show....that's what he does.

I can’t believe this troll thread is still going on 12 pages later.

speaking of goats. This thread is about the true goat. The goat of cowboys message board trolls. Doing what he does best.

This fantasy that the right QB can overcome a dumb front office, a garbage defense, and a weak coach is ridiculous.

Brady never had to carry a garbage defense, a weak coach, or a dumb front office. Mahomes hasn't either. Neither can fix those things.

Stop looking for miracles. The Cowboys issues go beyond whoever is playing QB. Brady would never sign on to Jerry's circus.

Brady would never have signed with a team that he didn't think had a chance at a SB. How many years would he have been able to wait around for our "process"?

we don't need Brady we have the gimp who basically didn't win a game last year unless you give him credit for a lucky watermelon kick and the game Dalton won for him. Yep, we're lucky to have the soon to be highest-paid gimp in the NFL.

Johnny Unitas couldn't carry this team, let alone a Superbowl championship.

I thought Brady could have gotten us over the top....would have kept our horrendous defense off the field.

Made players accountable....like Zeke....who mailed in 15 of 16 games.

Comments?

Compare the Bucs Defense...... vs the Cowboys Defense. and Defense still wins Championships come playoffs/Super Bowls ...

Absolutely we would be in the Super Bowl. IF, we had the rest if Tampa’s team and coaching staff. Otherwise, not only no, but hell no.

And yet....Brady has ring #7 with a roster that has just about the same talent as us.....Go figure.

We get healthy....get a QB....fix the O-line.....get some LBers that can run....a FS....I think we will be OK.

Dak wont ever get a great defense if he gets paid what he is asking for. Dak is asking more that what Brady is making and Dak is not nearly as good as Brady.

not true, you don't understand the cap and how you can always move around the structure of other contracts, even Dak, in according to how the contract
is initiated structured.

So long as it is a re-signed contract ...and not another damn "deadline make deals " last minute failure that forces a franchise tag that
cannot be rolled or moved around to fit incoming contracts off trades or free agents ....which FA is more a failure of Stephen Jones ...than it is Dak.

Stephen won't make the long term deal trades to get a Jason Pierre Paul,.. or free agent Suh who help rank Bucs as No.1 top run defense.
And a failure to ignore the safety role (no Antoine Winfield Jr.) and no Suh are leading reasons why we continue to go to every year revolving door
and charades - we don't have a bluer print foundation, we're just experimenting as we go.

Brady's greatness speaks for itself, spending half of the seasons in his career going to the super bowl is insane. He elevates everybody else around him and if our team was fully healthy, who knows. But I think it's kind of unfair to Dak if we're having to ask ourselves would we be better off with one season of the greatest of all time.

If the Cowboys had signed Brady would that have made Fredericks reconsider retirement. Would it have healed Tyron's back, erased La'el's hip injury? Would it have changed Martin's circumstances?

Would Brady's presence changed the constant injuries on defense?

Brady had a way of making his teammates play better and harder, no doubt. The guy is a pure leader. However, Tamps's defense had some very talented players, far more talented than the Cowboys soft defenders. Brady wasn't going to plug the middle of the Cowboy's inept defense

Give the Buc's players some credit. They took it up a couple of notches when it became crunch time. I just don't see the Cowboy defense doing the same under those circumstances. The Cowboy management never would have made the same moves in regards to Suh, Gronk and Antonio Brown.

The Bucs made some great draft picks over the past three seasons. They are all contributing, even this season's rookies.

I honestly don't know if Brady would have made it through the season as a Cowboy.

This point is true . Jerry’s meddling has made it difficult to attract elite talent , coaches or QBs ., but it would have been worth a shot .

You don't understand a team can't pay an average quarterback elite money and win a superbowl. The Cowboys want a longer contract to move the cap money around and Dak wants a shorter one to come back to the table for more money. The GOAT worked with his team on his salary to build a team around him. It doesn't look like a less talented quarterback in Dallas is willing to do the same.
