Would this make Romo's return on 11/22 pointless?

I don't care about other starting QB's. I care about Romo. He's 35 years old. Has been banged up the last few years. Just doesn't make any sense to me to trot him out there if we're not in it anymore.

And on top of it expecting Romo to get us our first win since sept 20th which would be just AWFUL

We don't draft, much less groom QBs. Plus giants aren't winning their next 2 games and will be lucky to still be standing after NE rapes them next week.

Giants are struggling against Tampa Bay and might lose both games before we lose the next 2

Giants are playing right now. We have to win our games sure but I keep up with other games as well. Everybody to their own though

It's been many of times when I got so happy that a rival lost and then saw us lose and was happy for nothing. So I am saving all my emotions for tonight

Again you have the right to celebrate, cheer, cry however you want. I love the Cowboys and enjoy just to see them play. Yes it hurts to lose but I never go into a game thinking we lose. Can't do it. I believe we can win any game every time. I cross that bridge when we get there

If we were to lose to the Eagles tomorrow and the Bucs next week to fall to 2-7 while the Giants win their next 2 to go to 6-4? I mean at that point I see no reason to bring Romo back because we would basically have to win all the remaining games to have a shot at the playoffs which highly unlikely. Seems like it would make more sense to shut romo down for the rest of the year so he can come back next season 100% healthy if we lose the next 2 and giants win the next 2.

I don't see how the Giants going to 6-4 guarantees that they finish better than 8-8. If they finish 8-8, then there's still a chance when Romo returns. As long as there's a chance, we play Romo and don't be the quitters that many on this board seem to want us to be.

But to me the past has no bearing on future outcomes. Different teams and different situations.

Example last year eagles got us on thanksgiving coming off a short week from a road game with Romo still hurt. Then at full strength we destroyed them.

This season we beat them with Romo going out and Weeden playing well......Romo our Weeden aren't playing tonight. Also have Hardy and Ro playing with McFadden at RB. Dez was also out and Collins is in at RG.

Can we lose yes but we could also win and many different players then week 2 this year much less last year or the past 5 years.

Either way we must win tonight to stay in the race
