Would you be happy with a Super Bowl loss?

Never happy with a loss, especially in a championship game/super bowl. But as much as it sucks, it's a game in the grand scheme of things. I would be proud of the team, especially considering where many predicted they'd finish. Would also feel bad for guys like Romo, Witten, etc...as that might well be their one and only shot.

For those of you who follow NBA, MLB, NHL, college teams, did your favorite team lose in a championship round, and did you wish they hadn't made it that far?

I would rather have a record of 1-15 than to make it to the Super Bowl and lose.

Happy with a Super Bowl loss? Is this a serious question? I remember living through Super Bowl losses and I can guarantee you one thing - you NEVER get over losing the big game. Even after all these years it is still very painful to think about those games.

!!!!!!!!

Who are we the fudgin Bills or Bronco's?

If we go and lose, I would elevate to a new level of LIVID. Do you know how much satisfaction haters would get from this?

I would rather not be in it. We go, we win!

I listened to Bronco fans say, "Atleast we made it to Super Bowl" after they got smoked!!!!

I don't think some fans understand. The very fundamental of the Dallas Cowboys. We are not like the rest of the NFL. We are royalty!

Happy they got there, but no I want to win, and Romo beat Brady or Manning.

You don't want Brady. He would find a way. The pressure is not too much for him.

Manning, once he folds, then you just pour it on. Game over.

I'd be happy with the teams improvement but no Super Bowl LOSS is a happy feeling. We've been handed 3 of those. None felt good.

nope! Ive always said, either miss the playoffs or win it all. I dont want that lukewarm, mediocre team thing. Either be the best or be the worst...at least i'll know where the team is.

You guys would have thought Landry was the biggest loser there was....................2-3 in the SuperBowl.

So you would rather be Jacksonville than Denver................WOW

WOW!

John Elway was a the laughing stock of nfl in Denver. I know, I lived there for some of those years.
Thank god for Terrell Davis, and for us, now for Murray.for if we win, it will be because of Murray, not Romo. Yes, Romo will do his part. But this is Murrray time. Running game and defense,

If we lose, it will be that we abandoned running game and sent Romo into turnover mode.

Back to Terrell Davis. If not for him, if Broncos even make it to those 2 superbowls they are 7 time losers.

That's like asking me if I'd like to give up a testicle.............then I'd only have two.

Making it to the super bowl is well above my expectations, so yes I would be content.

Generally speaking, the further the team goes the happier I am. But I would rather see a team loss in the conference championship than a Super Bowl loss for which Romo bore most responsibility.

Of course making it would be awesome. Losing it would be awful.

How would you feel about this?

Would you consider the season a success?

I would be thrilled to make it to the NFC Championship game with a chance to make the SB.

For me, the NFC title game where we spotted 49ers 21 points in minutes of first quarter STILL bothers me.
We would smoked the Chargers.

I swear this thread must have been started by a Browns or Bengals fan.

I agree, and I believe we would have came back and beat SF, if the arm bar PI would have been called on Deion against Irvin.
Worst call, or non call ever in the history of the NFL.
