Would you trade Parsons a la Herschel Walker?

Would you make that trade now? I think it would be a no-brainer....you do it.

We have seen what a great dynasty can be built having all that draft capital...

Comments?
No because you won't make your team better period. Parsons makes everyone around him better. It is a toughness and leadership and drive and determination example that you won't replace with a talent acquisition. With Hershel you were just giving up talent.

I’d trade him straight up for Mahomes or Allen. Getting one of the best QBs in the league for the next 10+ years would reliably make use Super Bowl contenders.

I don’t think any team would offer enough 1st round picks to make it worth it.
What makes you more of a reliable SB contender. A great D or a great QB.

I am being serious here because Drew Brees and Rodgers have 2 SB wins between them in about 30 years played.

I think elite QB on a team that lacks offensive talent(OLine, running game, receivers, OC) can help you win easier than a Parsons on a defense lacking talent.

I love Parsons with all of my heart and soul as a player like Derek Harper likes to say, but that's a lot of draft capital Dooms put up there, and if we were to receive all of that, I'd have to move him. Sorry but not sorry.

Walker was good but he wasn't on Parsons' level. It would take four 1st rounders for me to even consider it. But then you gotta pay all those guys, so.. Nah

Every man has a price and if the bounty was to be big enough and the players involved good enough with high draft picks then you have to do due diligence as a responsible GM. But it will never come to that.

No responsible GM isn’t going to explore trading a generational player that’s made their defense one of the best units the organization has had in 30 years. Parsons has made our defense so good we’ve won 4 straight games with a backup QB. There was a time when the Cowboys could never win a game with a backup QB mainly because their couldn’t stop anyone. Games were put on the shoulders of their QB.

Absolutely NOT. Here we go again we get some generational talent and some of yall want to get rid of him. IN ONLY HIS SECOND YEAR!. Do me a favor and DONT complain about lack of drafting or lack of talent!

Normally yes but he seems to have changed the entire trajectory of defense

The Walker trade was a swindle. Walker was nearing the end of his career and in no way was worth what the Vikings gave up for him.

Parsons is in his second year. He is a franchise player on defense. I would want more than what we got for Walker.

Really depends on if you feel Dak is that guy.
If you don't, you could use that draft capital to get a franchise QB.
Parson's is great, but an elite QB would be even better.
No way I’d trade Parsons for a shot at drafting a franchise QB….we see those guys bust all the time. No matter their rating, even the top ranked QBs bust more than they pan out to be better than Dak.

With all those high draft picks you may have the option of drafting a potential elite QB or trading picks for an established star.
Having that many high end picks would give you options.

True, but with this current team, I’m not trading him….lol. The only players I’d trade him for would never be available.

1. No
2. This is a stupid thread
3. Typical Dallas fan. Want to give up proven talent for unproven draft talent
4. There will NEVER be another Herschel Walker type trade.
