Would you trade Parsons to draft a franchise qb?

In a heartbeat. Parsons is a one trick pony. Relies on his speed and every year by the midpoint he wears down and loses some burst and becomes less effective.

Chicago will have 2 picks in the top of this years draft.

In a hypothetical world, yes I'd trade him for those 2 picks. Have Chicago throw in a few 2nd rounders too.

We'll be paying this guy as the highest paid defensive player in the league in a few years. A guy who has shown us nothing against the top team in the league.

He'll slow down as he gets older and more wear and tear on his body. He's not a very big guy for an edge rusher. Cut your losses while you can.

No. We don't need a franchise QB. Dare I say, we need a competent bus driver; we need a Purdy.

Defense wins championships and Parsos is arguably the best defensive player in the league.

For instance if Carolina calls and offers us 1 or 2, would you offer Micah to climb up to get one of the top Qbs of this years draft?
Honestly to start fresh at QB yes I would trade Parsons for the rights to draft Caleb Williams

A high draft pick? No. An established QB? Yes, but teams don't trade those around.

People are seemingly not understanding that Micah probably disappeared last night because the Cowboys offense allowed it to happen. It’s hard for a defense to be consistently great when the offense is pooping the bed every drive.

Micah has had one of the best beginnings to a career of any defensive player in NFL history. It’s completely laughable to suggest that he is somehow part of the problem.

Sure I could see that argument
We haven't had a franchise QB since Aikman. You don't get franchise QBs out of UDFA and 4th round picks.
I love Tony Romo, but I have been saying this for a long time. Until we start investing in the position, we are going to be where we are at. Jerry isn't going anywhere but we can at least address this specific issue.

How much is Cousins making? And how much is he likely to make in his next contract?
I'm not sure how cap hits work on trades but this is the last year of whatever contract Cousins signed so if the trade were made right now, Dallas would potentially be done with him after the season, I believe.
