Would you welcome Dez back?

Not at all. Have you not heard the stuff he has said about his former teammates and coaches? I would say no chance but this is the Cowboys...

But what if he was right. Dez with all of his histrionics was never prone to lying. I am sure he has a lot of "friends" still in that locker room and that is where he got his info. As to the coaches, good they needed to be called out.

Team-friendly low-guarantee contract with incentives...sure.

Otherwise, pass.

It's funny you bring this up because I was thinking about this. Would Dez resign here for way less $ than he was getting before? That's the real question. Because I think Dallas would take him back on a cheap deal in a heart beat.
Lets face it, it's obvious the offense is in big trouble if they can't get some better production out of their WR's and TE's.
Can Dez do that? If they don't get some consistent production soon, it may would be worth a cheap look to find out.

If I did I would make sure his locker is not next to Lee or Fredericks. Given Dez comments about both of them as the reason he was released.

If they could get past what's been said about Dez and by him and that he'd have to take a big salary cut, what would he bring? McClay has already said he can't get separation, isn't that important?

The passing offense is poor, is that because he is not there or is there another reason? Would he draw doubles and free up the other receivers? Make the run game go better? Is he the missing ingredient for a potent passing attack?

Why has every team but one passed on signing him? He wanted to play in the East and didn't get a sniff, nothing other than no interest, why? Don't we think every GM, HC and OC looked at film to see if he could help them? Other than the ones that had looked at film preparing to play us the previous year and decided he didn't need to be doubled.

If a player is going to act like a prima donna, he has to perform like one. When did Dez last do that?

For the record i am not saying bring him back !!!!

Honestly i am worried more about the dynamic in how the teammates he called out would look at this ! Would it destroy the chemistry this team seems to have ! Sean Lee would probably have a talk with him i would assume

This isn't Madden. It's real life, with real people and real personalities. Go back and read what Dez had to say after his release then picture him strutting back into the locker room again. How do you think that would go?

If the staff is smart they won't look back.

No. There's a reason he's remained unsigned. Just about every NFL team has a guy on their roster already that can give them declining Dez-levels of production.

At this point he's just a volume receiver, a body. Him dropping bitter pills on twitter makes me want him even less. Hard pass.

If he's in shape, there's nobody better in the red zone than Dez. I can say that much.

How much do you think he wants. 10 million. Lol.

For what. Dak don’t throw back shoulder fades or even jump balls. So much for the end zone threat that Romo made him into.

Is he gonna burn a defense deep like Austin did?

I guess i would pose this question another way !

Do you think this was a humbling experience for Dez regarding attitude behind the scenes ?

If he comes back i get to take my Dez jersey out retirement ! If he doesn't i have fond memories of him as a cowboy !

Do I think this is a humbling experience for Dez? Yes.

Do I think Dez has learned anything from it? Doubtful.

Prescott actually did make those throws and to Bryant. It's really just the main thing Bryant excelled at.

Even though I think Dez would contribute immediately, I think the ship has sailed on him being a Cowboy again. Too many open wounds between him and the team at this point...
