Frazier had a few nice hits as well. We have some young fire in this defensive backfield now. I feel alot more confident about this secondary going forward. Heath may have to watch his back for his starting gig. Also the defense as a whole was super aggressive and hitting! Really emphasizing turnovers.

Gonna be some tough cuts.

Carroll, Scandrick, Brown, Jones, and Heath are locks. Awuzie and Lewis will make it too. That leaves about 3 or 4 spots open. Frazier and Woods really showed something tonight. Blanton is a vet. It'll come down to special teams.

I wouldnt consider Blanton a lock. Duke Thomas was all over the field tonight too. Good problem to have

Heath is going to silence a lot of people week 1.
Will be hard when sitting on the bench watching Woods make plays......haha

I don't mind Heath, I'm not too hard on him but he seems like a guy that's best coming in and making plays in the passing game.

Last week and this week Heath has struggled with angles and making plays on the ball like the fumble at the goal line today. Woods in 1 week went from 5th on the depth chart to 3rd. There is 3 weeks of camp and games left and it's not a stretch to see Woods taking the starting spot.

There is no way Blanton makes this roster. He hasn't been good at all in both games, add that to the fact that Woods and Frazier both passed him on the depth chart and it doesn't look good for him.

It will be hard for Duke to make it but if White doesn't get healthy he is in trouble of losing that last spot

I wouldn't mind heath being the safety in obvious pass situations. I wanted him in that role last year anyway.
