Yeah I think they counted that though... when they said the average for the season would come out to $55k.

The XFL will use a standard form contract paying $2,725 per week for each player on the active roster, $1,040 of which is guaranteed. A $2,222 victory bonus will also be paid to the players on each game's winning team; this feature is a carryover from the original XFL.

You know... this should be a pretty sweet thing for evaluating talent for the NFL.

College you have a couple good to great players on each team, and then you end up with a draft bust.

Here, there should be a lot more good players on each side of the ball. You can probably get a much better idea of what
a player is really capable of. I bet there are some NFL scouts in these crowds heh.
