Saying Dak is a great leader because he' our QB is like saying Jerry Jones is a great owner for being our GM.
Well look what jerry has done for this team for this past 20+ seasons, he's given us more money and fan merchandise than ever before, he's made this team millions!!!

You can teach anyone the various buzzwords, clichés and "techniques" of being a leader but real leaders have that innate quality that can't be taught. Those without that innate quality can fool some of the people most of the time but that is as good as it's going to get.

Dak has been educated to be a leader but he is no leader. It's obvious pretty much every time he speaks.

One of the reasons that attracted Dak to the Cowboys as a college player was his leadership abilities. It's evident in his years of being a cowboy that he's a great leader, he can galvanize the troops, and say the right things. With that said, there's more to being a leader than just these things. A leader on the football field also needs to be a winner for you as well. We all know what this team needs, we've been lacking it for 20+ seasons. This is the Dallas Cowboys, America's team, when you're the QB of the Dallas Cowboys, so many great things can take off for you monetarily. In the end, none of the fortune and fame can get you to play better if you're regressing, and no one is telling you about yourself. Please give your thoughts, it's good to be a leader, but we need wins!

Ok, I'm no Dak fan...but I also realize that some folks have "other" agendas for saying Dak is not a great leader.

He may have failed in his results - in big games - but he has dominated this division and division foes. What's the scale for leadership you are using then?

He's a phenomenal leader - and that comes from the mouths of OTHER bonafide leaders from inside/outside the organization. He just has poor QB skills. Some great coaches were not great and x's and o's...it happens.

Two things can be true at one time...c'mon guys...

The thing about all those leaders is that they sucked at other things. Washington was a horrible politician. Caesar's clemency and need for adoration was his undoing. Dak is good at leadership because men follow him...doesn't mean that they always get the results they want. Ask Darius who was personally brave and a very able commander...who happened to go against Alexander the Great. Or Custard.

Dak is an average/above average QB who has been tasked with being excellent. That's his problem. But the team does follow him...and his leadership has been there since day 1. That's why the team turned on Romo so quickly...there was a leadership void.

When they to talk extension and they will. They need to bring up the lack of success in the playoffs

Yes our QB is a great leader,

Who started this narrative? Dak's agent? Ask Amare Cooper, Cee Dee, and probably half the locker room about his leadership skills. At some point leadership has to lead to results.

Dak is just another Booger yes man. He's the guy who says what you want to hear to your face and when you're not looking he's surfing the internet.

He's so robotic!! "We obviously didn't play well, we did some good things, we're going to watch tape and we're going to get better each day!" lol

Is that so? just because some label him with "Good at leadership" and "because people follow him" doesn't mean the result is good. Exhibit A - Charles Manson

Leadership should be measured by good results, group goals and objectives achieved, not by the number of "Likes" and "Followers", until we understand that people will stop calling Dak a good leader.

I hear Genghis Khan had a cannon for an arm.
He literally launched the corpses of his own troops, that died of the black plague, over Caffa's walls to spread the disease in that city while it was under siege. So yeah, he did. o_O

That's the kind of leadership this team needs. Joking of course (Kinda not though). :p
