Big Ben should have been a little higher. Wilson should have been a little lower

Now, now

He was
15th in yards
20th comp %
10th in QB rating
16th in TD passes

But but by far the leagues top defense and run game

Certainly that propels you into a top 5 QB!

He also ran for 800 yards and 6 TDs.

I don't think Wilson is better than Romo, not by a long shot, but his importance to that team is greatly understated.

I think that the public narrative of Romo is changing, its just a shame that it took so long.

Dude has been an amazing QB and hasn't gotten any credit. He's been literally everything you could want from a player, especially off the field. He's a great person.

Remember the stories of him changing someone's tire on the side of the road, and taking that homeless guy to see a movie?

Truly classy.

We'll miss him.

The public is uneducated. There narrative has no credibility as reflected by the now 9 different QB ranking lists I've seen posted this off season.

From Fox Sports - this was as different as I've ever seen and highest I've ever seen Tony in a national article which really surprised me.

10. Ryan
9. Rivers
8. Roethlisberger
7. Eli
6 Peyton
5. Romo
4. Wilson
3. Brady
2. Luck
1. Rodgers

Bad list. They don't have Brees on it. I feel like this is a more accurate ranking of QBs right now:

QB Tiers
I. Rodgers (by far)
II. Brady & Brees
III. Romo, Roethlisberger, Peyton, Rivers, Ryan, Luck
IV. Wilson, Eli, Newton, Flacco, Tannehill

I see Eli is still living off his Super Bowl rings.

He put up 4410 yards, 30 TD's and had a passer rating of 92.1 in 2014. Who outside the top 10 should have been there instead of him? I don't agree where he's ranked Roethlisberger should be ahead of him but Eli should be in the top 10 based on his numbers last season.

Brees is really starting to show his age. His arm strength is shot and last year he made a lot of bad decisions. If this was before last year, I would absolutely agree but Brees does not deserve to be top 3 or top 5 for that matter. Brees/Peyton are both suspect this season and both are on a steady decline.

Luck gets the opposite of Romo treatment.

Romo wouldn't survive a season with the teams Luck has had. Luck attempted over 600 passes last season and was only sacked 27 times which was 2 fewer than Romo who had a career low in attempts in which he played at least 15 games. Luck has attempted over 1800 passes in his 3 seasons in Indy which shows how much he carries that team. Lucks OL isn't even half as good as the OL Romo plays behind and Luck had the 22nd ranked rushing attack in 2014 while Romo had the 2nd ranked rushing attack. The Cowboys defense was ranked 8 spots higher than the Colts defense last season. It's obvious some of you don't realize how bad the Colts would be without Andrew Luck.

He's a terrific young QB who's forced to carry what would be a bad team without him. He turned a 2-14 team into an 11-5 playoff team overnight. He's already win 3 playoff games and reached an AFC title game with no running game, an average at best OL and defense. Romo has never been stuck with a Cowboys team that's had as little talent as the Cots have. For a young still developing QB to get the Colts to the playoffs 3 straight seasons with 11-5 records is remarkable in my opinion.

You don't think running for 849 yards (7.2 yards per carry) 6 TDs, and 45 first downs is worth mentioning? That's a massive amount of productivity.

He was 7th in yards/attempt (6th in adjusted yards/attempt, which factors in TDs and INTs). That's the most important rate stat for passing.
And, oh yeah, he ran for 850 yards at better than 7 ypa, with 6 TDs. That absolutely blows away all other QBs and provides a ton of value.

Should he be at #4? Probably not. But he fits just fine in the top ten, and he's far from the most egregious placement in that list (I'm looking at you, Eli).

He didn't crack the top ten in passer rating or yards/attempt.
FO has him 16th by rate and 11th by volume.
He threw a lot, but not very efficiently, and he added nothing in the running game.
The guys behind him on this list were all better, as were Brees and Flacco.

The duel threat Wilson provides is what many here fail to see or refuse to acknowledge with him. Although he doesn't put up a lot of passing yards and passing TD's he's been a very efficient passer with a career 98.6 passer rating. Last season he combined for 4324 yards of offense and had a 26-7 TD to turnover ratio passing/rushing.

Luck had a passer rating of 96.5 which is pretty efficient for a QB who put the ball up over 600 times and was playing behind an average at best OL. The one season Romo had to put the ball up over 600 times in 2012 it resulted in a career low 90.5 passer rating. Luck didn't even have much of a running game last season which ranked 22nd. Brees led the Saints to a 7-9 record and part of the reason for that was his 20 turnovers that helped cost the Saints some games. Although Luck had 2 more turnovers than Brees he tossed 7 more TD's and had 3 rushing TD's.

He got the Colts to an AFC title game with very little around him so he should have been ranked ahead of Brees who was sitting home for the playoffs. As for your claim that Flacco should have been ranked ahead of Luck are you serious??? Flacco threw for over 800 fewer yards than Luck and had 13 fewer TD passes plus his passer rating was lower than Lucks. Flacco led Baltimore to one fewer win than Luck did with the Colts in 2014 and didn't get the Ravens as far in the playoffs as Luck got the Colts.

Holy guacamole............
Bus driver at # 4.
What a joke.

How can Wilson be labeled a "bus driver" combining for 4324 yards of offense passing and rushing? That's more yards than Romo accounted for last season.

He threw 601 pass attempts last year, as the Giants were always playing catch-up. The number of yards (VERY misleading stat in his case) was a result of sheer volume of passes thrown. Yards per attempt is a much more relevant measuring stick.

Eli didn't measure up.
