Yet Another QB Ranking - But This One Shocked Me Twice

He hasn't helped cost his team a lot of games. In 2012 he played an outstanding game vs SF in the playoffs passing for almost 400 yards and 3 TD's but his defense melted down blowing a big lead.

Oh...it's OK for his defense to let Ryan down, but not Romo's bad defenses all these years? And then, you mention "team" while talking about Ryan!

He's definitely feeling it this will be his 8th season and sooner or later Falcon fans will become impatient with him. His teams haven't been perfect but he hasn't suffered the meltdowns that Romo has suffered over his career and that's kept Ryan from receiving some of the harsh criticism that a 1-4 playoff record normally brings.

Again, I like Ryan ok.

But he does have 9 TDs, 7 ints in the playoffs. That's not very stellar.

Romo's sample size is also small, but 8 TDs vs only 2 ints ( with one being a giveaway desperation throw) is one of the NFL's best ratios.

Drew Brees has a 4;1 ratio too, but I don't think anyone else does.

Bad list. They don't have Brees on it. I feel like this is a more accurate ranking of QBs right now:

I. Rodgers (by far)
II. Brady & Brees
III. Romo, Roethlisberger, Peyton, Rivers, Ryan, Luck
IV. Wilson, Eli, Newton, Flacco, Tannehill

I don't get the love fest with Ryan. He is more mistake prone in big game than Romo has ever been. He is an interception machine. He's consistently had two top WR threats and still throws it to the other team with regularity. He's never won squat. He is hands-down the most overrated quarterback in the league.

Not really...according to some of us FANS, Romo is the most overrated QB in the league.

The big negative with Ryan is he doesn't throw many TD passes to go along with all the yards he's produced the last 4 seasons. He's only tossed over 30 TD's once in his 7 year career. He's a high percentage passer who's putting up some impressive yardage totals but doesn't throw for as many TD's as he should with the receivers he's had.
