Crazy thing is the Cowboys did front load his contract. They paid him $75MM in year 1. That's actually what kept his cap hit so low year 1 and 2. Now it jumps $30MM next season unless the Cowboys can pull off some accounting tricks to get that down. Crazy thing is I'm sure they can do it, but now you are adding money to years after his contract is up. In theory, Dak could walk after 2024 and the Cowboys still be on the hook for $30+ Million in dead space.In a perfect world for the owners, but not the players lol
