BB gun at 9 for me. Then came the .22 about 12. 20 gage at 14. The got my 30/30 at 16.

BB gun at 6, pellet gun at 9, and a .22 soon thereafter. Bought it myself w/ money I earned picking peaches and picking up mohair for the goat shearers.

Steel made in the USA Tonka trucks, one of which was a red Texaco tanker I used to ride down the driveway. They still exist to this day.
Also rode my Stingray bike for miles and miles. It was actually safe back then.....
Those were the days of Radio Shack, Gibson's Discount, transistor AM radios, walkie-talkies, A&P Grocery store, and independent bakeries, clothing shops, and pizza shops in every shopping strip.

My first Stingray was silver.

My second banana seat bike was dark blue. It was a 2-speed. You kicked back the pedals to go into the other gear.
