Your reasons why you think TO would or wouldn't work for Dallas in 2006?

I'm sure you were cussing at the TV, and beating your dog everytime Deion picked off a pass or returned a punt for a TD. You may not like the guy, but you have to respect the skill and that he is helping your team. I don't like the way BP goes about his business, but I know he is a brilliant football guy and I love that he's on our side.

Theres a difference between the guy and the football player.
I respect the talent not the football player or person

Sanders never used the media to slam teammates TO has done it twice with 2 different teams but all of a sudden he is a new man? Give me a break the guy is a punk and is not going to change he is what he is, a good football player who has hurt his teams more than he has helped them. He has been in the league 10 years and has no rings so this BS about sign him and we will get a ring is pure BS.

You guys crack me up. Yeah it takes 10 other guys....we need that 11th guy, cause we aren't exactly lighting up the scoreboard.

If TO comes in a keeps his mouth shut and puts points on the board, helps us win.....I bet we won't hear much complaining out of anyone here.

You guys can talk til your blue in the face about how much you dislike the man, but the player would earn your respect if he helps us to the super bowl.

I don't really care for the way he's went about hsi business in the past, but he is a smart guy, he will be an altar boy from here on out if he is compensated fairly.....he knows he has to prove his worth as a team player now.

Guys like you crack me up thinking this idiot can change and not leave a mess behind him as he has done on 2 different teams. Dallas does not need TO to get to the next level and TO is not the only WR in the NFL. I'll take a guy with a bit less talent but will stick with the team through thick and thin than some moron who wants the limelight so bad that he does not care what he does or says about those who helped him put up the damn numbers to begin with.

I think that if anyone can keep him in line during the season and with a contract it would be Jerry and BP. Im for it assuming the contract is in-laid with stips.

He HAS TO PROVE he's a new man. He will have a clause in his new contract that will cover his new teams butt. If he acts up he will not get away with it. An incentive laden contract is realistic. No team will give him top WR money without him having to give to get.

If you don't think he had a HUGE HAND in getting Philly over the hump, your dreaming. he was hurt, but he brought a swagger and confidence to that team, and that is what got them over the hump. TO gave EVERYTHING in the superbowl, poor time management and McNabbs alleged melt down cost them a win.

TO has over the hump talent.

Of course he would work. Dallas doesn't have $100 million tied up in one player like Philly does and can thus afford to pay T.O. News flash: All TO wants is to win, be a major contributer to winning, and to be paid what he's worth.

SF stopped throwing him the ball and Philly didn't pay him what he was worth-- ergo problems. Never once did T.O. hold out of a practice (of his own accord) or give less than 110% in games.

Football is a team sport, and the notion of the $100 million franchise QB will IMO soon become extinct. No team has won the Superbowl since paying its QB that kind of money. Teams that pay out that kind of money to one or two players help create a class hierarchy in the locker room. Things fall apart when those players (COUGH)KearseandMcNabb(COUGH) don't perform.

You need to be telling #81 that.....not us.

I would hope any team that signs him would put that in the contract but considering there is no contract you don't know if that will end up being the case of not. You act as if TO is the only WR in the NFL there are guys that have good talent and do not cause the problems TO seems to bring where ever he goes. As for Philly they were winning before TO got there and managed to make it to the SB going through the playoffs without TO playing due to his injury so yes they were able to make it to the show without TO on the field.

What is that WRs name? Maybe we can pick him up in FA. Oh, he doesn't exist right now? Who is available that is half the player TO is? The "bring in TO camp" has a solution. You guys have no solution for the problems at WR and the lack of scoring, just the " he's a butt head" approach.

TO may not change, but with a contract that has stipulations and a reward in their somewhere, makes the risk/reward worth it.

The solution is to stay with Key,Glenn and Crayton. Our WR were not a problem for the Cowboys our problem was on the Oline and I don't think TO can play OT do you? Sorry I don't want the guy plain and simple he is not worth the headache he brings to every team he has played for. If he does come to Dallas I sure as heck don't want to hear about what a problem he is after the fact because everyone damn well knew it ahead of time.

From day one TO made that team better. They got past the NFCCG without TO, I have no arguement there. IMO TO made everyone around him better, he took pressure off their scrub WRs all year and boosted their confidence. He was there keeping everyone guessing about if he was going to come back at some point in the playoffs. He had a role eventhough he wasn't on the field.

I say he got them over the hump.

Keyshawn, Terry Glenn, and Patrick Crayton are servicable at best for different reasons, age and youth. None of the three are anywhere close to the player TO is. O-line was a huge problem, but Glenn is our only WR that can get seperation and he was easily shut down with double coverage. WRs score points....we lost too many games to make the playoffs....probably cause we didn't score enough points.....thats just my opinion.

Philly got there without him thanks to RW.... they lost with him. If he's the superman you think he is, then philly/TO should have won that game despite what happend to McNabb....

Please quit with the 'incentive laden contract' stuff. That is exactly what would cause a problem, needing to reach specific numbers to attain a certain salary.

And since he wants MORE money, he'll want, no, he'll INSIST, that he gets the ball, and when he doesn't, that's when the dominos start falling....
nah.

you can have "incentives" just to make the roster and behave (not be fined or suspended or you miss the incentive). in short a multi-year deal voidable each year by the club with bonuses for makign playoffs, winning playoff game, 15TDs, etc. not a rocket science here... Tuna's been handling guys like this since you were in diapers :)

Your right. How foolish of me. Terrell Owens is not the best WR in the game and had nothing to do with Philly's superbowl season....he sucks. Lets bring back Quincy Morgan.

Where's my dunce hat?
