Your reasons why you think TO would or wouldn't work for Dallas in 2006?

I'm sure you were cussing at the TV, and beating your dog everytime Deion picked off a pass or returned a punt for a TD. You may not like the guy, but you have to respect the skill and that he is helping your team. I don't like the way BP goes about his business, but I know he is a brilliant football guy and I love that he's on our side.

Theres a difference between the guy and the football player.

Sanders never used the media to slam teammates TO has done it twice with 2 different teams but all of a sudden he is a new man? Give me a break the guy is a punk and is not going to change he is what he is, a good football player who has hurt his teams more than he has helped them. He HAS TO PROVE he's a new man. He will have a clause in his new contract that will cover his new teams butt. If he acts up he will not get away with it. An incentive laden contract is realistic. No team will give him top WR money without him having to give to get.

If you don't think he had a HUGE HAND in getting Philly over the hump, your dreaming. he was hurt, but he brought a swagger and confidence to that team, and that is what got them over the hump. TO gave EVERYTHING in the superbowl, poor time management and McNabbs alleged melt down cost them a win.

Of course he would work. Dallas doesn't have $100 million tied up in one player like Philly does and can thus afford to pay T.O. News flash: All TO wants is to win, be a major contributer to winning, and to be paid what he's worth.

SF stopped throwing him the ball and Philly didn't pay him what he was worth-- ergo problems. Never once did T.O. hold out of a practice (of his own accord) or give less than 110% in games.

Football is a team sport, and the notion of the $100 million franchise QB will IMO soon become extinct. No team has won the Superbowl since paying its QB that kind of money. Teams that pay out that kind of money to one or two players help create a class hierarchy in the locker room. Things fall apart when those players (COUGH)KearseandMcNabb(COUGH) don't perform.

You need to be telling #81 that.....not us.

From day one TO made that team better. They got past the NFCCG without TO, I have no arguement there. IMO TO made everyone around him better, he took pressure off their scrub WRs all year and boosted their confidence. He was there keeping everyone guessing about if he was going to come back at some point in the playoffs. He had a role eventhough he wasn't on the field.

Keyshawn, Terry Glenn, and Patrick Crayton are servicable at best for different reasons, age and youth. None of the three are anywhere close to the player TO is. O-line was a huge problem, but Glenn is our only WR that can get seperation and he was easily shut down with double coverage. WRs score points....we lost too many games to make the playoffs....probably cause we didn't score enough points.....thats just my opinion.

Please quit with the 'incentive laden contract' stuff. That is exactly what would cause a problem, needing to reach specific numbers to attain a certain salary.

And since he wants MORE money, he'll want, no, he'll INSIST, that he gets the ball, and when he doesn't, that's when the dominos start falling....

you can have "incentives" just to make the roster and behave (not be fined or suspended or you miss the incentive). in short a multi-year deal voidable each year by the club with bonuses for makign playoffs, winning playoff game, 15TDs, etc. not a rocket science here...
