His contract voids Soon.Just trade him.
I don’t think they want to add more $$$ to the cap.His current contract voids after the start of the 2025-26 season, which is a month away. If he were to return, the dead cap/void would be postponed, but the extension would have to be in place pretty much right away. And seeing how his last time how long it took to get to that extension his agent better be calling the Jones duo now.
sorry what I'm saying is, I don't see how that matters. It's there independent of him.
He will try to get healthy and then get the heck out of this place as fast as he is able to.He says 4-6 weeks so we will know something before the draft. Considering his decline in play and persistent injuries of late, I expect him to walk away. Sad ending to a HOF career.

NEW ORLEANS – Being in New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX is a bittersweet moment for Zack Martin. On one hand, he's the Cowboys nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year award, one of the most prestigious honors in the NFL.
On the other hand, he's not in town playing for a chance to win a Lombardi trophy.
"I mean, it'll be cool to experience it as a fan, but obviously wish we could have played in it at some point in my career." Martin said.

AgreedIt's time to retire Zach.
Just noting how he could not look like an idiot in the future.he already he admitted he was incorrect. relax
Sounds like another $10M extension from GM Jethro. He says 4-6 weeks so we will know something before the draft. Considering his decline in play and persistent injuries of late, I expect him to walk away. Sad ending to a HOF career.

nothing will prevent me from looking like an idiot it. i've accepted it. just trying to help you not look/sound/act like a prick. we may have similar fates though. clownJust noting how he could not look like an idiot in the future.
Take note, it might help your game as well.
Not in mineSad ending to a HOF
Frederick recovered from his disease. Martin's main problem is age and wear and tear on his body.TFred has a neuro disease.
ZM had an injury to his leg.
Dude will heal up and make mega $$$.
He actually had 2 years where his play was in decline… it does not get better with age eitherDo you mean Zack. It's sucks everyone just forgets how good he was for us. He had a down year and that's it? You can't even spell his name right? Get out of here.
Lol, if it wasn’t the Jets and this past season I’d agree. Its interesting to hear him mention other teams. Tyron probably told him even the disaster show that is the Jets was more focused on football.
