Nah I just found all the talk on radio and podcasts and this board amusing. 1. As if it matters if they signed Zay. 2. As if the cowboys would actually outbid anyone for a free agent. lolYou'd bo more? Lol
For anybody. Throw the Chiefs in there.2 milly too expensive for Stephen Jones lol
They really don't spend a lot on the leftover FAs. Clearly they are not looking to upgrade the position.4.25 million. No way the cowboys were gonna pay that lol

And rightly so, he sucks and is injury prone at this point...go look at his stats or lack there of...just bc you know his name and remember him catching a td against the cowboys in doesn't mean he's any good.4.25 million. No way the cowboys were gonna pay that lol

We can't afford any of them.Guy had 321 yards on 34 receptions and 2 tds....has had 3 years in his career over 500 yards and is injury risky now....
Better options out there, nothing to see except a name
Is Zay Jones a 4 million upgrade? They really don't spend a lot on the leftover FAs. Clearly they are not looking to upgrade the position.
Ha, board got sucked again.
If they could get him for 4M a year, that's cheap. He's not garbage. The Cowboys are looking for league minimum material. Zay Jones would upgrade the position by a bit. But you have to pay for that.Is Zay Jones a 4 million upgrade?
that's usually a great way to get into dallas! And rightly so, he sucks and is injury prone at this point...go look at his stats or lack there of...just bc you know his name and remember him catching a td against the cowboys in doesn't mean he's any good.
To be honest, I think he's every bit as good as Cooks. He'll be a 10M cap hit this year.that's usually a great way to get into dallas!
he and dak kind of got the chemistry going on, not sure you want to mess with that. Hey I hear your point thoughTo be honest, I think he's every bit as good as Cooks. He'll be a 10M cap hit this year.
I'm not suggesting we replace anyone. But we lost Gallup because he wasn't the player he used to be. Do we not want to replace the player he used to be? Zay Jones isn't that player, but he's closer to Cooks talent, and better than anyone we can get at league minimum.he and dak kind of got the chemistry going on, not sure you want to mess with that. That's what they usually do hence "we like our guys!" I'm torn as to why we cut Bryant, maybe it's something he did or wasn't doingI'm not suggesting we replace anyone. At this point it's clear the Cowboys are just hoping someone else steps up.
A couple of reasons they cut Dez. The Romo/Dez connection was lethal. Not so much with Dak. In 2016 Dallas went 13-3 largely without much contribution from Dez. He did get almost 800 yards, but he wasn't the reason we were winning. When he was injured, Dallas didn't skip a beat. Then consider Dez was a 12M cap hit going forward. At the time, that was a lot. The impact Zeke had made everyone else look insignificant. So they moved on, which was probably not a good idea. But they didn't think they needed him. That's what they usually do hence "we like our guys!" I'm torn as to why we cut Bryant, maybe it's something he did or wasn't doing
